I just received the product today. I’m very impressed with the screen size. The picture quality is phenomenal, as well as the sound. I had a hello baby and a vtech monitor. Both lost reception from one side of my home to the other. This one still has 3 bars of reception. There’s no image lag. The wide base is awesome, instead of those collapsible stands. I installed the monitor and camera myself and it was functioning flawlessly for several weeks. For some reason, the monitor was not connecting with the camera any longer. I contacted Kylene at customer service and, with her assistance, attempted to troubleshoot but was unable to make the connection. She referred me to Naomi who determined that a new replacement camera would be sent to me. I spoke with her on Friday and received the replacement camera on Monday. The monitor connected to the replacement camera on the first attempt. I am a very satisfied with the product, but even more happy with the stellar customer service!!! MH ... show more

I love this honestly, I spent a month trying to find a non-wifi monitor that has all the bells and whistles and was not going to cost me $300. PLUS, the 1080 on both the camera AND MONITOR!?! Yes please! The monitor is sharp and I love how it doesn’t have a flip out stand which always breaks. This is slick. Also, the range is amazing. Update as of May 28th - Support followed up and sent me a new camera and monitor. This camera works a lot better and will notify for both sound and motion. Updated to 4 star Unfortunately this did not live up to what I was expecting. The monitor seems great at first but it is not reliable. It won’t light up for motion or even if there is sound. We even changed the settings to high alert so it would catch everything. If you have one of the kids highlighted in the dual screen it won’t flip over to hear sound of the other kid when they start crying so essentially you could go the whole night not even knowing the other child was crying. The media could not be loaded. This baby camera is packed with many great features. It has local storage playback, i love this so I can easily review those cute or funny moments that my husband might have missed while at work. The motion and sound detection capabilities are outstanding - It alerts me instantly. The auto night vision feature has crystal-clear visuals. The Pan-Tilt-Zoom feature is my favorite fearure. With just a swipe on my phone, I can scan the entire room and zoom in to see every little detail. The 2-way audio functionality is another perk.     • Let me tell you how much I hate this monitor

I hate this monitor with the fire of 1000 suns. We have had a bonoch monitor for almost 2 years, but this is the third time we've had to replace it since it quit working in some way or another. The first time was because the battery stopped being able to be recharged and so you couldn't not disconnect the parent unit from the charger at all. This time, the charger wires frayed, and the replacement charger that I bought would not actually charge the monitor. It would say it was charging but then when you took it off the charger it would still only be on one bar after having charged for hours. Originally bought the megaview 7 inch screen which was way too big for us, so we decided to return that and get this one with a much clearer picture and smaller screen. However I don't think they could have had a worse design for this parent unit. Our previous monitors have all had the kickstand that could fold flat so that you could easily carry it around with your phone or put it in your pocket. This is the most god-awful unwieldy design. It's think and heavy and there no way to grip it to pick it up without pushing some sort of button. AND there's a button on the front plays music as soon as you push it! So my husband Accidentally pushed it our first night with this monitor at 5:30 in the morning and we realize there was music playing in our son's room and we could not turn it off. Why the F would you need an instant music button that accidentally gets pushed all the time?! Also, and more importantly, the camera disconnected in our other son's room randomly at 3:30 in the morning and could not be reconnected. We ended up having to swap out the camera for our old monitor in the middle of the night. So I blame this monitor for no sleep and every time I have to pick it up I hate it more. So, bye bonoch. We will be finding a new brand ... show more
