  • Blade is very high quality.
It’s a very powerful little Helicopter and it’s also good for a beginner with a little knowledge, you will love it.

  • One of the better micros from Blade, but you get so much more for lesser money with OMP/Align
One of the better micros from Blade, but you get so much more for lesser money elsewhere for instance, OMP, Align, etc.). You have to have a Spektrum Tx if you want to realize the full potential of this flybarless system. You tie yourself to an expensive Spektrum ecosystem. Spektrum in general is more geared towards casual hobbyists, beginners and people who want to get into RC hobby but are not that tech savvy. This is good and bad at same time. The good being, its easier to get started with - just take out your Tx, take out your RTF heli, download pre-configured setups from HorizonHobby website, charge a battery and start flying. Hopefully you do not crash - since you are a beginner in the first place, remember? This leads us to the bad, which is, it can get expensive pretty darn quick. Granted HorizonHobby has good after sales support and you can find lots of support with issues online, but parts can get expensive to replace. You will pay through your nose for amateur quality product/design/UI in general to be very frank. Its good if you are a trust fund kid, or you do not mind living paycheck-to-paycheck. But if you are financially literate, you should stay away from Spektrum as far as possible. I am an RC enthusiast myself with years of experience. No offense to HorizonHobby. And finally, remember that it is what it is - just a hobby - not a professional investment of any sort. So makes even less sense to spend so much on subpar hardware (especially their NX line of transmitters, laughable they are charging upwards of 400 USD for the base model). Save your money. Invest it instead. Thank me later. ... show more

  • BNF Bind not fly
The ECS was burned out on arrival. It took me a while to understand why the main rotor would not spin up, but than I could see that the ESC was removed from the helicopter before. Pulling it out show unusual appearens of some IC on the board which would be concidtent with burnout. Dont buy from Amazon, people send it back broken stuff and amazon claims it is working. ... show more
