  • Plays All NES/SNES Games EXEPT Games that Use Light Gun/Super Scope UNLESS You Play on a CRT Monitor
Definitely worth a try if you want to play NES/SNES games without spending money on and making room for 2 old consoles. Slim design that takes up very little space and most importantly it plays MOST games. What I mean is that you will not be able to play NES or SNES games that use light guns or super Scope UNLESS you are using an old school CRT monitor (Tube TV). The tech on the light gun and super scope are CRT based so they do not work on flat screen TVs & monitors. You can buy aftermarket ones designed for flat screen TVs but that's up to you. The games will load, but you can't do anything with them unless you have an old school TV or buy the aftermarket light guns/super scopes. After watching at least a dozen reviews about this product and others like it. I love the fact that Old Skool is the only one compatible with original NES/SNES controllers. The other thing to note...and this is the same issue with all the systmes out there like this...is that for the NES games, the sound is a bit higher in pitch than the stock nintendo. This is due to the way these clone systems translate the data from the cartridges. it's not really that bad or noticeable unless you listen to the coin sounds in Super Mario Bros 1. PS - If you also like Sega, then you should consider the Old Skool Classiq III which plays NES/SNES/Sega Genesys games. All that being said, I love this thing! Here is a list of all my NES/SNES games (My collection is slowly growing). Other than Duck Hunt& Hogan's Alley, they all play fine. SNES: Super Mario World Cybernator Spider-Man Super Battleship The Super Star Wars games (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back & ROTJ) NES: Baseball Rad Racer Skate or Die The Legend of Zelda Mike Tyson's Punch Out 1942 10 Yard Fight Golf Solomon's Key The Legend of Kage Paperboy Athena Popeye California Games Excitebike ... show more

  • Funcionamiento

  • Doesn’t play most NES and SNES games
This console does not play more than half of my NES and SNES games. I most of the time get a message stating this game isn’t compatible. Too late to return it.

  • Does its job... but this system can erase your SNES saves!
While this is a great SNES experience and does the job... one thing we noticed is 1. the games don't sit in the chip cradle very well and 2. slight bumps or touching the cartridge will glitch and freeze your games. We also found out that if it glitches just right, it zaps all of your save progress. We lost a Super Mario World save at 53/99 stars and had all gold cups minus 2 circuits on Mario Kart. Super frustrating and a really sucky issue... but otherwise it's actually a really awesome systemas long ad you handle it like a time bomb. ... show more

  • Everything Works So Far
And spending my mom's birthday playing the literal copy of Donkey Kong Country 2 that I used to stay up until 4AM playing with her every summer when I was a kid is a gift. Our two player game is still there. I had a moment of worry with Super Mario All-Stars, but then I checked the instructions and discovered the regional switch. ... show more

  • It works great.
I have a collection of Nes and Super Nes. It is very convenient to have just one player.

  • Meh for live-streaming speedruns but good for casual play
If you just want to play classic games it’s perfect. If you are trying to speed run and livestream I would not recommend it has a lot of input delay and the FPS is very bad. Other than that pretty good
