Description

Specification: Material: Vinyl Type: Opaque All-White Matte Thickness: 0.3mm / 12 mil Package Included: 1 x window film 1 x simple step-by-step instructions Tips: 1, Always put the film on the inside of window and only apply it to smooth glass surfaces. 2, Affix tape on a corner of the backside to quickly remove the clear backing. 3, For best results, do not apply film in direct sunlight or during freezing weather. In winter, please use a hair dryer to soften the film or soak the film in warm water. 4, For light leakage at edges of some old windows, use black electrical tape or silicone caulk or similar things to seal the edges. 5, Please remember to take caution when handling the film as the slightest fold will create a permanent wrinkle. 6, Don't apply to the window frame. There were lots of bubbles the first time I applied this to my 20 gallon long. I used other review recommendations to put something on it to hold the tint on while drying. The second time I had lots of practice appling window tint and used the same technique to cut it down to size, pulled the backing off, sprayed the back of the aquarium with soapy water, squeeged the excess water, then used painters tape to hold down the loose areas until dry, and then carefully pulled off the tape. These are very easy to put up, they stay where you put them and block the light perfectly. They are a little difficult to measure / cut & getting the backing off is difficult. Overall, worth it!

I bought this to put on the back of my aquarium to hide the cords and things hanging behind it. When I got the roll, I was confused by the grid marked on the film. It turns out that is a protective backing which you have to peel off before applying. I feel rather foolish now, because I reported the product as having an inaccurate product description, but that was not the case! The film adheres with no adhesive, just the shiny side pressed to the glass. It is hard to get out all the bubbles, but I was expecting that. I also needed to apply a small piece of tape at each corner to keep it secured. For the price, it is a pretty good buy. ... show more

The product works fine but is difficult to apply when it is rolled the way it is with the backing facing out. This causes the film to curl away from the window while trying to apply so I had to lay out my other pieces to allow them to flatten before applying.

I like these but cutting them down to the right size was a pain. They kept the light out and if the window was clean it worked great. A little different for me as I had to take them on and off alot. Used in vehicle to black out windows to sleep. But worked quite well when cut to size and stuck better if a small amount of dampness on window with a credit card or DL to smooth it out ... show more
