I bought this because the last bag I had was having issues after years of use. I will end up going back to the hard case I had before. This is ok for occasional use and has better storage for hard drives and controllers, but is a pain to get the xbox in and out of with not much protection.

I'm not using this case to travel with my Xbox Series X as the it's far too expensive to be protected by a soft case. I have used it to pack my system up and take it to a friend's house and it worked wonderfully. I consider this as a great case to hold other cases in. For example, an Asus ROG Ally and Nintendo Switch, each in a hard case, easily fit in the large compartment with room to spare for controllers and accessories. This is now my main use for the case as I can easily pack everything up for game night at my friend's house for 4 to 6 people. If you're in need of having actual protection for your Xbox, you're going to spend a lot more than the asking price of $34.99 (when reviewed) of this case. This is not a knock against the case, just don't expect it to protect your system from hard bumps. For such situations, you're going to need a hard case. Positives: -Two compartments, a large bottom one for your Xbox system, the upper for controllers and accessories. -Double-zippered compartments. -Zippered pouch in the top compartment for smaller items. -Stitching seems to be good and should hold up. -Fabric is Nylon, I think, so should last basically forever. -Has back-strap for use with rolling luggage handles. -Padded adjustable/removeable shoulder strap is connected to a Nylon strap that goes down and around the bottom of the case instead of just being stitched on to the sides. Considerations: -The large compartment for the Xbox is very snug, to the point where it can be difficult to get the system out without help. -The rubber bumpers on the bottom only provide minimal protection to the bottom of the case. In Closing: -I really like this case for how I'm using it and with everything taken into account, can recommend it. Although it can fit almost anything as it is like a standard bag, there is considerable thought into the design of it specifically for Xbox. Firstly, the Xbox Series X fits perfectly in the biggest pouch of the bag, then the controllers fit in the middle pouch, and then any miscellaneous items fit in the zipper pocket (whether that be games or wires). I travel a lot and take my Series X with me occasionally. I typically just place it in my backpack but wanted to see if this would be better. It's small and the main pocket fits the Xbox very snugly, but almost TOO snugly as it can be a little tricky sliding the Xbox out. It does have some hard rubber foot pads on the bottom to keep it from directly hitting the ground when you set it down. The top pocket is large enough to hold a controller and the Xbox wireless headphones. I was hoping I could also carry my steam deck in it as well but the top pocket isn't large enough if you have the controller and headphones in it. My main gripe with it which is why it doesn't get 5 stars is that out of the box one of the zippers is damaged. I can still close it but the fact that one of the zippers don't work/gets jammed, it gives me a little pause on using this to carry such an expensive item. Overall, if you're looking for something to carry the Xbox Series X in that's small and portable, this might be a good option for you. ... show more
