I purchased the white case for my PS portal and it fits perfectly. it's not a hard shell case, but I think it will do the trick and protect the device really well. The inside is lined and there is a semi-firm fabric screen protector that you velcro in place. There is a zipper compartment on the inside for fitting charging cables or small ear buds (I don't have the special playstation sony ear buds so can't speak to if those fit in the case, but according to reddit they will). The handle and outside zippers seem really sturdy as well. Like the description says, it does look like if the white casing gets dirty it can be easily wiped. Very sleek! There was a strong rubber/chemical smell upon first opening but with some airing out it's gone away mostly. I'm very happy with the purchase, especially for the price! ... show more

I got the white/black edition. Great case and feels durable. It's kind of a shoft-shell design on the outside, and the inside is molded to the PS Portal to hold it in place with a velcro strap that attaches to the built-in screen protector. It also has plenty of zipped storage for charging cables or earbuds on the top half of the clamshell. I fit the Sony Pulse Explore earbuds in it just fine with a USB-C cable. I managed to grab a Playstation Portal once they were back in stock. Immediately, I knew I'd have to grab some accessories (case, screen protector, charging dock, etc.). This was the best looking case that I came across. It's reasonably priced and the quality seems really good. Easy to clean outer material (though I haven't needed to yet) and I really like the formed fitted interior along with the screen cover / velcro strap.
