I got the Trash Can, it looks nice but it doesn't automatically open/close. I tried the suggestions, I put in brand new C size batteries, checked they were in correctly, made sure i seated them fully and NOTHING worked. Tried holding palm above the lights, tried waving it above them. Instructions are minimal and not helpful. Not sending it back because it in use and I can open it the old fashion way.
