    • Awesome stuff, but beware.
Buckle up buttercup! I read the reviews before I bought this stuff and got a good laugh because I've taken other pre-workout drinks and they are never as advertised. This one however, is different. Let me give you my background first. I'm 50 years old. I'm a former pro hockey player. I'm 6'0 tall and around 230 pounds. Not fat or overweight, just big because I workout a lot. Like 5-6 days a week a lot. Bench 355 for sets and dumbell curl 60's for sets. I say these things so that you know that I'm not some couch potato who decided to get in shape. I mix 1 scoop of LIT with 1 cup of water and add 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar. It's awesome! and the flavor of the LIT cancels out the vinegar. So the first time I took it, I wasn't expecting anything really. At about the 20 minute mark, it kind of grabs you by the poo poo. Then I could feel my pupils shrink. I don't think I blinked for an hour. Then I got the itchy back. Kind of like when you have a sun burn, but not in a painful way. By the time I got to the gym, I felt like I could push the door in. Guys I know were trying to talk to me in the locker room but my mind was so damn focused, I don't think I would have noticed if the building was on fire. Finally got to the weights and holy crap! ME....HULK! Weights....Puny! The energy I had was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you drink coffee or red bull in the morning, I would highly suggest that you don't unless you were planning on visiting the emergency room later that morning. As one reviewer said, I think the manufacturer needs to state that the secret ingredient is meth, because I was LIT UP! The best thing about this stuff is that it WORKS but there was no crash at all. It wore off after about 2 hours. I use this stuff before I play hockey now and the amount of focus is off the hook. I recommend it to anyone who wants to go beyond where they are at. ... show more

I used to swear by this preworkout. I would always recommend it to people because I’d have great gym sessions with it and had a lot of energy to spare afterwards. That being said, it’s been about a year or two since I bought this and wanted to give it a try again. Flavor and quality are still good, gym sessions are still great, and I actually never really found the tingling to be annoying or uncomfortable. That being said, I’ve found myself crashing after a few hours whereas with other preworkouts I’ve had hadn’t given me that as of late. I still think it’s a good pre, but the crash is just an unfortunate dealbreaker for me. ... show more

After using this for a week, I felt awake but not focused. I didn't feel that surge of energy to push through. I read to use a heaping scoop and that did help a little. I don't have a big breakfast prior to going to the gym but it helps if you're sensitive to all the caffeine. The search continues. It mixes well and I tried the gummy flavor, which is very citrusy. And sweet. Too sweet for me. I didn't think the extra caffeine would bother me and it might help for those 3am workouts. But for me it was a little too much and made me sick to my stomach. I'm going to try 1/2 a scoop with more creatine monohydrate to try to salvage it's use. I'll post an update. ... show more
