Couldn’t seem to ignite the flame. Smell plenty of gas…but pushing the ignition button wasn’t creating a spark. Then I took the time to read the lighting instructions…lo and behold it needs 1 AAA battery! Put in the battery and ignited the first time!

Just to let you know that I am a female on the closer side to 80 than 75 and I built this myself. What is important to know is that you need to read the directions and get yourself organized as you start the build. I ordered the fire table on a Friday and received a FedEx package on Saturday that contained the glass for the pit. Amazon seemed to think my order was complete and started asking for a rating. On Monday I sent a message to Best Choice Products asking for the shipping information of the actual fire table and I received a prompt reply with the information to say it would arrive on Tuesday. Just as promised a FedEx truck pulled up and this very strong young woman had my heavy box which she put inside my gate for me. I was able to open the box and remove each piece and take to the location I wanted to built it. REMEMBER: Lay out all your pieces and I even sorted the screws into little containers by size. Not hard to put together and actually quite light at that point. I had a bit of a problem in lighting the flame but it was totally my own fault, again READ THE DIRECTIONS, need to turn the knob to low in order to ignite and then it worked just like magic. I did add more glass to the pit and have covered it at night. I did enjoy a glass of wine that evening and will enjoy sitting outside with family and friends many a night enjoying my beautiful fire table. ... show more

Packaging was damaged but product was intact. Easy to install. Do order stones atleast 5 LBS additional. Instructions are not great but using basic logic its simple to put together.
