I went back and forth on whether to buy this but I finally did and I’m so glad I did. It arrived after a week and I was nervous something may be broken or damaged because the box was a little banged up on the outside but it was packaged so well! Every piece had styrofoam around it and or separating it. My 16 year old wanted to put it together and he did! All by himself. In total it took him about 2 and a half hours to put together-but mind you he did it alone. It looks great and there are no flaws that I can see. The flame effect is nice and has different brightness. The heat is enough to heat the area around it. Nothing too much but that works just fine for me. I am thrilled with this unit so far. It is very good looking and we get compliments about the different heights which is what caught my eye. Heater works very well and it has a sound function so it adds a crackling fire effect which is a nice touch. We use in an area about 400 sq ft and it supports the main heating as expected. No electric fireplace is designed to be a primary heat source so don’t expect to turn it on and go from 62 degrees to 70 degrees in an hour…it adds comfort and helps to keep room warmer. Took 90 minutes to put together but I am a diy person and have done many pieces like this. Do not use power tools as it is too easy to use too much force and mess things up. PROs: Fits perfectly under my 66in TV, throws enough heat to take the chill out of the room, visually appealing. Instructions were clear; solid piece. CONs: piece #5 was off centered; I spent an hour filing the right side to be able to fit the next piece on.

The media could not be loaded. After thorough shopping comparison against cost and quality, I decided on this (66 inch) for my foyer. Arrived ahead of projected delivery date in two boxes, extremely well-packaged with instructions and hardware clearly labeled for assembly. No issues of misalignment or missing parts. Finished product and heat output impressive, remote convenient, and appearance of flames as expected--warm, inviting hues (it’s an electric fireplace after all). All in all, great sturdy product for the cost. Many similar, manufactured ones in design and dimensions cost triple than this one and no better quality (not solid wood). Not a final setup decor wise, this is stacked with greeting cards and gift supply that was on a bookshelf I wanted to donate. I’m saying that because I literally couldn’t wait to tell you how much I love this. It’s been together and running less than an hour, took just over an hour to put together, and I don’t even have a couch yet, but this felt important. Getting the unit with the fireplace brought a level of sophistication and comfort into the room that is well worth the extra cost. Even in it’s temporary filled-with-junk setup, it feels as if it’s already making the room feel settled and cozy. This piece was a standard step by step piece that came fully disassembled. It was heavy but not so heavy that I couldn’t get it to the third floor alone. I assembled it alone without issue and both my furniture and the fireplace came the same day. This thing was packaged very well! But the box was hella beat up. Something spilled all over it, too. Despite the thorough packaging, many pieces are chipped and damaged.
