Bought this instead of aluminium griddle since it was ceramic. Overall it works pretty good, but there are some things I wish were better. Pros: - When it first warms up, the heat is pretty distributed - Fairly non-stick, and what does stick comes up pretty easy - Large surface area to work Cons: - Almost too non-stick - would be better with slightly higher edges, since the food may slide to the little lip and fall right off - After the intitial warm up, it only cooks food that are over the element - Much like stainless steel, if the cook top is not hot enough, food sticks (which I think is normal for ceramic) Note: The cord does not work great for my kitchen set up, since it plugs in on the right and I do not have an outlet on the right ... show more

I specifically bought this griddle to use on thanksgiving morning because I was cooking for several people and it worked out great. I also love the grease tray.
