These feet are tall enough to fit a Herman Miller Aeron Chair and still have clearance for the central pillar. JUST BARELY, there's about 2mm of clearance. So the center post collects as much hair and dust bunnies as the feet do. We've been using these feet for a little over a month. One of the felt pads is already scraping off one of the feet on my chair, even though I have tried to pick up the chair a bit when I scooch. The pads on my husband's chair have basically completely disintegrated already. I am not sure how much damage the feet will do to my floor unprotected, so I will have to see if I can find replacements that don't rely on glue, and function more like socks. The chairs are very heavy, so it is of course harder to move the chair with these feet than with wheels. However, wheels can too-easily roll over paws and tails, so these fixed feet are much safer for pets. ... show more

I put these on my Aeron Remastered (size B) and they fit perfectly. They look like they were made for the chair. I didn’t want to damage my carpet with the rolling casters so I use a DYI wooden office mat plus these bell glides — no imprints on the carpet, and the bell glides give the Aeron nice stability while working. These glides replaced my traditional caster wheels. I chose these because they were slightly taller than similar products. They were easy to install and did the job as I expected them to. Finally found a bell glide that fits my old Aeron chair, just barely. I didn't want casters on my chair any more as they just don't do well on thicker carpet. And I don't want a chair mat, been there and don't like it. Turns out there aren't many bell glides that are tall enough to accommodate the tall stalk of an Aeron chair but this is one of them and just barely! Removing the wheels is as simple as pulling them out and putting these glides in is just as easy. Flip the chair back over and it's good to go. My Aeron is a heavy chair so it stays put with these glides installed. The chair is also about an inch lower but that's easily adjusted for. So far I'm really happy I ordered these.
