The media could not be loaded. I was in hopes that this steamer would work . On the hottest steam setting the steam temp reaches 150F when keeping close on my candy thermometer. Lots of water comes out at first when the steam trigger is press each time. I used half of gallon distilled water to clean tile grout in area of 2’ x 4’. That’s 1/8 of my kitchen . The media could not be loaded. I bought it to clean my car, I've never used a steamer so i don't really know what to expect, but i do feel like it's way more hot water than steam. I'm now looking into getting a portable carpet cleaner because there's no way i can get that much water out with just towels. I only ended up cleaning half of my car. I most likely received a broken or faulty unit .I was looking forward to using this , but it didn't work right of the gate. The machine would leak water in the main housing and would start smoking. I never had it in more than a minute for fear of it catching fire.

The steam cleaner arrived in an undamaged box, but when I opened it there were broken items inside the hard case. It looked as though it might be a returned item since the output line was already attached to the main unit. Watching the manufacturer's video it showed that the kit came disassembled. Then the water inlet line had the end completely broken with the strainer laying loose in the case. Finally I noticed that where the inlet line attaches to the main unit the silicon line was torn almost in half. Definitely returning the unit. ... show more
