At 28" X 28" this has a small footprint, but it holds a lot. One thing I like is the information on the door that lets you monitor the inside temperature, which so far has been consistently eleven degrees below zero. This freezer sits outside on my deck and whether it's 80 degrees or 25 degrees, the internal temperature is always the same. The other thing I like is that it is truly frost free.     • Warranty from CURTIS INT’L is worthless!

I thought I was buying a product from a well known American manufacturer. Instead, I discovered that a Canadian company called Curtis International made the freezer and licenses the Hamilton Beach name. The freezer worked but the panel allowing a change in temperature or function was non-responsive. I attempted to get warranty support from Curtis International, but they put up numerous roadblocks making it virtually impossible to get them to honor the warranty they provided. Their behavior went beyond indifference or incompetence, and appears to be an intentional effort to avoid satisfying warranty claims. ... show more

Got the freezer in and I seems to be cooling and box had Minimal damage. However, unwrapping it looked like someone had taken a bat to the outside of the freezer.

It was delivered on time and the delivery guys were a delight. There was no damage to the box. So we sent them on thier way. When we unpacked it has a huge dent in the door. We let it sit as recommended. Plugged it in and it seems to be working just fine. It's very quiet. If it continues to work properly, I will keep it. I think it was damaged at the factory as there was zero damage to the box ... show more

We love the product that can be a refrigerator or a freezer. We picked it because of the dimensions. Once delivered, there was no way for it to fit through the door. We had to figure out another place to put it quickly. So beware. It's is really much bigger in width and depth than advertised.

Doesn't have a handle and it closes tightly, so I have to hold the unit back with one hand and pull it open with my other hand. Comes with the door opening from left to right.
