Great buy! Quiet and efficient, good temp control. Perhaps my favorite aspect is the door flange that fits into base like a tongue and groove joint. It also has an automatic light that turns on when you open the door. Now we just need to see how it stands the test of time.

This one arrived in 2016 with some dent. I didn't bother returning because of the bulkiness and low price. It's still working after 8 years of service. It's cheap to operate. Likely because of less air exchange makes less work to the compressor. Cold air behaves like liquid, so top door makes more sense than side doors. It's quiet. It needs manual defrost or scraping every once in a while. There's a drainage hole at the bottom. When there are less stuff in the freezer, I move them to my other freezer and turn it off to defrost. Drain it. Clean it. Turn it back on and back to the business. Some exterior parts start yellowing 3-4 years after purchase. It's cosmetic and I don't really mind. I can buy some vinyl wrap if I want a different look. ... show more

this is a good size and fits a good amount of our frozen goods. It was easy to set up and the temperature is nice and even. If you have a toddler I would tape the temperature knob on the bottom because it's very easily accessible for the little ones.
