This is the first freezer I have ever bought, so my knowledge is...limited I guess. What I can say with certainty based on my own experience is that overall it exactly what I wanted. It's a good size, it is big enough to store what I wanted to store and small enough I can move it around alone, the price is right, it doesn't hike my electricity bill, the temperature control doesn't give me any problems...It's only been about a year so I can't speak to how long it will last, just that it still works perfectly. Really happy with the unit I received. I saw several other reviews reporting damaged shipments, however mine arrived pristine. My freezer arrived with a few dents, one of them being deep. I blame the shipping process because other than that, it was exactly as described. The size is perfect and it was extremely easy to set up. I purchased the pads for the de-frosting so I don't have to do it very often. I am completely satisfied with my purchase!! ... show more
