Update: I have owned it now for nearly two years and it is still working perfectly. It freezes ice cubes quickly and keeps everything I put in perfectly frozen. We were looking for a freezer. With the way the world is going the more you can store the better. I wanted a coffin one but hubby wanted an upright. I had already made the room on the back porch and the shelves back their start at 6ft but since he’s the one who makes the money I started looking for an upright. So after going on many sites and price comparing found this and it was a great compromise and a hundred less then anywhere else and have prime so free shipping. It got here dinged up but just on the outside and it’s going on the back porch so what am I going to send it back? Not-each shelf has its own freezing fins. Their is no glass due to this, just wires. Way easy to keep clean now. It’s great so no more frostbite or trying to remember what shelf is for what due to one side being colder then the other etc. It’s like a really, really big wine fridge and holds 2 1/2 more times stuff then my indoor freezer/fridge. ... show more

Excellent little freezer! We are boondocking in the desert of Az and the extra freezer space is so nice! Running it off an inverter connected to a battery, connected to a charge controller and solar panels. Humming right along! Shut it down at 10 pm when voltage started dropping, 12 hours later internal temp was only 24 degrees. Turned the system back on and it's working like it should be. Only complaint was the new paint smell on the compressor as it warmed up. Today it's barely noticeable. Thanks Igloo for such a great product! ... show more

I disliked the fact that the when unboxed, the door had been ripped of its hinge pins which resulted in bent hinge broackets. the front door panel had 9 large dents, and the unit was leaking an oily fluid all over the bottom of the carton.     • Difficult to make use of the space, but it keeps things frozen and it's quiet

It's not easy to make use of what little space is in there. It's a slippery surface in the first place, and there should be some small ledges or something to hold the products in place a little, but there's nothing of the sort. The top shelf is standard metal bars, but, again, you can only fit what you can stack up on them. There's nothing to help keep the items from sliding around on top of each other. Great compact freezer for Camper... I like Igloo products and this is no exception. I use this for our annual Family camp out and Crappiethon on Lake Sam Rayburn. It will hold 200 crappie filets, but little else besides. Very efficient and not noisy at all. Seems rugged enough to last several years. Hope I get to fill it up again next year! ... show more

August 2020: I love it because I cringe at the thought of digging down into a subzero freezer in search of food. It helps me organize and have easy quick access to the things I need! I like the size of the freezer but what I don’t like is that ice builds up like it’s leaking air or something but is sealed all the way around.
