Yes its light weight, comfort was good. cant beat the value for the money. It worked great for me. Considering I never used a auto dark helmet before and can know see just what the hell im welding, this was a great upgrade. Now the only downside is the battery replacement when needed. You cant. They never intended or made provisions to do so except on their upper models. So your choice is modify by adding an external battery box that easily attaches in the interior of the helmet which is about three bucks and use 2 AA. I will use my rechargeables. Or spend big bucks on a high grade helmet. Or throw it away when the battery dies. Seen the instructions on youtube. Nothing to it. I'm doing my own upgrade. ... show more

Comfort isn't too good but that's because I made it super tight, quality is good, specs are good, and again, if you loosen it up it's 100% fine and comfortable. I got this for work and I love it! My coworkers have tried it and they say it's comparable to their big brand helmets at 3 times the price. The controls are straightforward and the true color veiw is head and shoulders above the old monochromatic filters. 100% satisfied!

After the NIGHTMARE OF REMOVING THE GIANT WHITE & ORANGE CAUTION STICKER right up against the lens inside... I was ready to return this thing unused based on the manufacturer thought it would be smart to put a BRIGHT, distracting sticker right against the inside lens. But, then I got it fit, and used it. WOW! What an incredible helmet! FAST! LIGHTWEIGHT! COMFORTABLE! EASY TO ADJUST! Ordered a 2.5 cheater lens that clips right into the bracket inside (sweet!).
