This is my first and maybe the only carbon fiber hardhat I'll ever need. I don't know how well it takes to impacts vs a plastic hardhat, and hope never to have to find out, but it's taken a few bounces off the pavement with nothing but a little scuffing. I love the weight and I bought the colorway for pretty instant recognition on site. The suspension isn't as comfortable as some others I've seen, but it's not really an issue for me since I rarely wear it more than a couple of hours at a time... I might be a bigger factor for guys who have it on 6-8 hours a day. ... show more

I was a little worried because the description didn't mention it having a liner in the hardhat but it came complete and comfortable out of the box. Hard hat is light and I don't mind wearing it all day, the carbon fiber looks really good too.
