  • Perfect addition!
Style: Black
PERFECT! These are a must-have. These are great for plasma cutting, and spot welding. They work great, and fit well (I wear glasses and they fit over them with no problems. You should, at a minimum, order these and give them a try. If you don't like 'em, send 'em back. I think you'll keep them. Glad I found these. ... show more

  • Such a GREAT Welding Mask!
Style: Black
So I'm new to welding and I had an ol' hand-me-down welding helmet that I just could NOT see through. It really affected my welds. Got fed up so I decided to try these out and let me tell ya...it is a world of difference! I can clearly see, even in dark spaces under my car, and then when I start to weld...BOOM! The lens gets dark, but not too dark that I can't see my weld pool. The only thing I can say, like other reviews I've read, is the nose piece is uncomfortable. Honestly though, it's not bad enough that it doesn't deserve 5-stars. I will be recommending these to anyone and everyone I know who welds. ... show more

  • This thing is a beast, with a minor problem.
Style: Black
Works great but expect a burned face if you are going to do a lot of welding with these. These are for really quick jobs, not long-term jobs. But, for the price and the great job that they do, these are well worth the money. Now, to the problem, and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Yeswelder knows this problem exist, and has done nothing to fix it. They will hurt the bridge of your nose. I had to cut some of the nose out to fit confrontable, but other than that, these are well worth the purchase. ... show more

  • Suprised.
Style: Black
I bought this just to see if it would work for what I needed. I have to cut (acetylene) and weld (mig) in very tight quarters. I can't get a full hood up in to see. These are close to cutting goggles but much better. I can get head and shoulders in tight and still see the work. Delay, shade, sensitivity all adjustable. Setting for grind, cut, weld. Work great. I can actually see when done and take them off. Better results than I expected for the price. ... show more

  • So far so good!
Style: Black
I have a full face auto shade helmet and this goggle type shield is convenient. It is also comparable with full face sheild. I personally like the goggle itself. Light weight, easy to don and adjustments do work. I'm only a DIY welder, plasma cutter and grinder....fabricator, and no problems yet. Recommend this product for DIY fabricators. ... show more

  • Make sure the cover isn't pushing against the dials
Style: Checkerboard Pattern
I had to adjust the cover and the circuit board underneath so that it wasn't jammed against the set of dials. There needs to be more room for the circuit board so that your employees don't destroy it snapping the cover on. There is no excuse for that and I'm willing to bet that is a big part of why there are so many complaints about the lenses flickering/not working in various applications. Another thing is both of the sensors where scratched in the manufacturing process. I've noticed the goggles definitely don't work quite the way they should when testing with a flashlight, regardless of whether I use high beam or lowbeam. Sometimes it will get stuck in darkmode in a low light setting. The big problem is, the patent for this product is being used by at least five different companies. Whether or not YESWELDER is the original manufacturer or a "Cash Grab Corp" is beyond me. And you need to sell replacement lenses for the inside that are made of hard plastic that cannot be easily scratched by a microfiber cloth. I have yet to use these for tig welding. But if these goggles are not useable for tig welding a pipe in a mirror from roughly 2 feet away, I'm probably better off cutting up my Vulcan hood and using that with some leathers velcroed to it. I will hopefully have time to try them out this week. ... show more

  • Works very well!
Style: Black
I bought this knowing that I need in a tight space that a regular welding hood would not work. Fit me very well even over glasses and was very clear on viewing the welding. The only issue I had was so used to lifting my hood and I couldn't but otherwise this did very well.

  • Handy, but uncomfortable
Style: Black
First things first, dont get these expecting them to be a replacement for a traditional welding hood. For 90% of applications, a welding hood is the better option, these just cover the remaining 10% Pros, these are way more compact than a welding hood. If youre welding in weird spots like under a truck frame, there just isnt room for a traditional hood, but these are small enough to slip pretty much wherever. They work how you expect, the auto-darkening works fine and the protection is good Cons, these are incredibly uncomfortable. This is a subjective thing, but honestly, they dont fit me comfortably at all. The included clip-on shield is an absolute joke, tons of light leakage. Get something to cover the rest of your face or you will regret it. The inner glass fogs up pretty easy, after about 10 minutes youll need to stop and wipe off the interior Conclusion, id buy these again if my pair died, but i also do a lot of welding under trucks, so the pain of wearing these is more than balanced out by the convenience i gain Edit 03/17/23 - Well, this ones disappointing, after a scant 2 months of extremely light use, maybe 4 hours total of actual use, these are dead. The auto-darkening doesnt work unless sensitivity and shade are both set to max, and even then only the very center of the view actually darkens. Readers are invited to take a guess at how i figured this out. New batteries didnt solve it, ive got a message in with YesWelder but previous experience with their customer service department tells me that im probably now stuck with a $70 paperweight. Guess theyll make for decent flame-cutting goggles if nothing else, but still, disappointing for them to die so soon ... show more
