Product was packaged bad for something easy to break. Lid on one was cracked. Will use it as is but wont buy another one. I have my birds outside and the way the lid is made rain will easily get in it so will have to put it inside cage.

The feeder makes a ton of sense and functions. However the material is cheap and the top does not fit well. The top will allow rain into the feeder. This will work ok inside a covered cage or indoors but hanging outside the food will get soaked.

I liked this feeder a lot and it doesn’t waste food. Semi clear walls made it easy for the birds to know there is food there. But it is very hard to attach to the cage. Also I had to cut a larger opening for the seed to access the feeding area.

    • Good feeder, bad mounting

The feeder itself is great, but the mounting “hardware” just doesn’t really work well. You are given some flimsy wires to bend in whatever way you need to secure this thing, but it’s like trying to shape an old hanger, except flimsier. You inevitably cut your fingers trying to wrap the sharp wire around the holes cut out in the plastic, then you have to figure out the best way to wrap it around the cage to hold it in place…it didn’t work.
