The kettle is very stylish, the glass jar, round spout, spout filter are all the pros. Everything we liked in this kettle and we enjoyed having this in our kitchen for the past 6 months. I get compliments on it all the time and it works really well. I accidentally broke my last one and tried to replace it with a cheaper model… but couldn’t do it! I returned the cheaper one and saved up to get this model again. It’s so pretty and I love everything about it. The handle and weight distribution feels great- it’s easy to fill up and keep clean- the switch has always worked well for me (but I have seen others complain that it sometimes takes longer to switch off once the water boils) I swear it boils the water faster than the inexpensive model I tried and returned to get this one again. I love it and would recommend it- just be careful if you get the glass one - I hit the glass spout on my granite countertop and it did break ( hence the need to buy another one, hahaha) it’s pretty sturdy and it’s thick glass but it’s still glass. ... show more

It was great until it wasn't. I loved almost everything about this: it was a good product, had a great retro look, and had a nice color. I also liked that it was easy to fill through the spout, but she didn't even make it one full year. A water kettle has one job: to heat water. Last week, the push button stopped working. I would push it down, and it didn't stay depressed, or I would push it down, and I thought it wasn't engaged, and then randomly, I would hear the water boil 20 or 25 minutes later. I bought this kettle with a no small amount of trepidation. I am happy to report, after over a month's use, that the Amazon gods were smiling on me that day. It works. Very well. And it is every bit as beautiful as it appears to be — and more. It is a very well built product. It's easy to keep clean and shiny. It boils FAST. Even when's near the max. I didn't realize this, from the photos, but — it's like a hidden feature — the little switch is clear and LIGHTS UP. The little light is that old-school red-orange color. The way it refracts through the switch is MONEY. Looks amazing. The whole thing looks amazing, really. When you scroll through the pages and pages of kettles, you can see how the same handful of designs from the same few Chinese manufacturers has been rebranded and redistributed over and over and over. I liked the kettle until it failed. The boil switch began to fail so I contacted the company for guidance on how to fix it twice and, after months, they have yet to respond. I don’t recommend this kettle.

Love the very unique and modern design. Material safe. The only not so perfect part is the output part with a silicone ring. I removed it to use but then leave a potential hazard for heat/steam burn, especially if there are small kids in the household.

I'm so delighted with this purchase! I bought it after seeing it recommended by Tamara Rubin, the Lead Safe Mama, as an item she had tested and determined to be Lead Free. It is well designed and has the great safety feature of turning itself off if left boiling for a time. It heats up very quickly. In addition to making herbal tea, I use it to evaporate the alcohol from herbal tinctures. I just pour a little bit of the boiling water into a cup and let it sit for a minute. I then add the tincture and let it cool for a few minutes while the alcohol evaporates out. ... show more
