The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Home Dim to Warm LED Tape Light Kit is a perfect all-around solution for any kitchen, bedroom or living room installation. At full brightness, the LED strip light kit’s color temperature is Soft-Bright (3000K). When the LED kit is dimmer, the color temperature transitions to a Warm-White (1800K) glow. The lighting kit features an RF (Radio Frequency) remote that allows control of dimming and LED lighting effects. Control up to three kits with a single remote for larger, custom installations. Cannot be used with AC dimming switches.

I've had this tape light installed under my kitchen counters for 3 years now and they're still working perfectly fine. Even the one right next to the stove that sees heat and steam from cooking daily is still going strong. I keep them on pretty much all day every day so they definitely last a long time. They also dim very nicely just using a standard led rated dimmer. The 3000k color temperature is great for food prep. Overall I'm very happy with this kit. ... show more

These strips produced a nice light under a floating vanity and were dimmable. However one of the strips failed less then 6 months after installation. I don't recommend based on the durability. These didn't get used very often - about 3 hours per week - so I consider the strip defective. Updated: 21 Oct 2024 I changed this to 4 stars because I contacted the customer service for Armacost Lighting and they responded promptly and after confirming my issue quickly issued a replacement for the part that was defective. I have emails it is shipping and assuming this takes care of the issue, I feel confident in recommending the product. ... show more

Used for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. They have been installed for a few weeks now and I really like them. I have them hooked up to a kasa dimmer and (so far, knock on wood) it works flawlessly. Can't comment on longevity yet but I'm hopeful. The transformer does get hotter then expected but the location I chose is open air so I don't foresee any issues but will keep an eye on it. I saw some reviews that said they weren't bright enough but these are actually way brighter then I was expecting which I was happy about. I like having more light then I need and dimming it down. I run these on 60% most of the time and it's perfect. I wiped the area I was installing them with rubbing alcohol and then wiped that area again with a clean paper towel and made sure the area was totally dried. They stuck very well. Even had to reposition a section and it's still sticking well. I did turn them on for a few minutes prior to installing so the glue would soften up some and promote adhesion. Then once installed I left them on for an hour or 2 and went back every so often and applied pressure everywhere to help set the glue. Highly recommend for the price. The transformer power cord comes installed but is easily removed and trimmed to length which I appreciated. ... show more

My electrician installed these and I searched and finally found the identical set for another kitchen project. Remote, adjust the light color temperature and brightness; it is saved when switched on/off. Included everything you need. The media could not be loaded. I bought three sets of this lights for my clients kitchen and they worked without problems for about week, my client was happy but the happiness was short-lived. the lights above the wall cabinets started flickering, I checked all the connections one by one and adjusted them again and it worked for two days and so on, sometimes the lights under the cabinets, sometimes above, some times both sides started flickering for small periods of time until suddenly one day an entire section went out. and finally they all began to flash like disco lights. By that time I had already gone to my client's house about 5 times to check for possible problems, but this was enough for me and my client. Now I can't return them because the return window has already closed. So I have to order 3 new sets some where else. a huge waste of time and money..
