Description

The Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Home Dim to Warm LED Tape Light Kit is a perfect all-around solution for any kitchen, bedroom or living room installation. At full brightness, the LED strip light kit’s color temperature is Soft-Bright (3000K). When the LED kit is dimmer, the color temperature transitions to a Warm-White (1800K) glow. The lighting kit features an RF (Radio Frequency) remote that allows control of dimming and LED lighting effects. Control up to three kits with a single remote for larger, custom installations. Cannot be used with AC dimming switches.

Used for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen. They have been installed for a few weeks now and I really like them. I have them hooked up to a kasa dimmer and (so far, knock on wood) it works flawlessly. Can't comment on longevity yet but I'm hopeful. The transformer does get hotter then expected but the location I chose is open air so I don't foresee any issues but will keep an eye on it. I saw some reviews that said they weren't bright enough but these are actually way brighter then I was expecting which I was happy about. I like having more light then I need and dimming it down. I run these on 60% most of the time and it's perfect. I wiped the area I was installing them with rubbing alcohol and then wiped that area again with a clean paper towel and made sure the area was totally dried. They stuck very well. Even had to reposition a section and it's still sticking well. I did turn them on for a few minutes prior to installing so the glue would soften up some and promote adhesion. Then once installed I left them on for an hour or 2 and went back every so often and applied pressure everywhere to help set the glue. Highly recommend for the price. The transformer power cord comes installed but is easily removed and trimmed to length which I appreciated. ... show more

These strips produced a nice light under a floating vanity and were dimmable. However one of the strips failed less then 6 months after installation. I don't recommend based on the durability. These didn't get used very often - about 3 hours per week - so I consider the strip defective. Updated: 21 Oct 2024 I changed this to 4 stars because I contacted the customer service for Armacost Lighting and they responded promptly and after confirming my issue quickly issued a replacement for the part that was defective. I have emails it is shipping and assuming this takes care of the issue, I feel confident in recommending the product. ... show more

I used the lights to back light my cabinets. The lights are very bright. They are dimmed to 50% in the photo. The remote works very well, allowing you to dim the lights.

I have had this product installed as undercabinet lighting for 2 years now. The lights worked fantastically after I first installed them and probably for the first year after that. Now some cool whites, some warm whites work, some flicker, sometimes they will go out in sections, but they are all failing. Not a product to buy if you don't want to replace it again in a year or two. I am very displeased especially with the price point and positive reviews....beware the reviews are deceiving. I would not purchase this product again. FYI Home Depot sells the exact same lights under a different name of Commercial Electric, but its the same product manufactured by Armacost....Steer clear of those as well as they have done the exact same thing. ... show more

Gone are the days of trying to fit large wires and bulbs into a small cabinet to give it some light. This was the easiest of installs we have ever done in our lives. We retrofitted an old curios cabinet and wanted a lot of light in it, and this was the answer. Super easy to unroll, securing it into a switch was effortless and viola, let there be light.
