I’ve been an Arctic fox consumer since the first time I dyed my hair. the hair dye is very nice and I’ve never had a problem with hair damage. I use shampoo and conditioner meant for dyed hair so it helps last longer but, even without out it arctic fox hair dye can last up to 3 weeks in your hair sure by the third week it will be very faded but this is for almost all semi permanent hair dye but this is the brand you should be supporting I appreciate the different bottle sizes and the crazy amount of pigment. I used to have shorter hair and I would only use a little over half the bottle of hair dye but i keep it, and I always heard or been told that I can only use hair dye once and it will “expire”, sure that happens but I can go weeks or a month and the hair dye is still just as vibrant as before. I also like how mixing colors is easy with arctic fox hair dye because some hair dye companies dyes aren’t able to do that very well. I will say if I wear a lighter colored shirt it will stain it a little I personally don’t mind and I think it’s common sense not to wear light colored shirts with freshly dyed hair I have light colored hair so it works well with all colors. Even if you have darker hair like a dark brown or even black If you put arctic fox dye in your hair in the sunlight it will have a tint of whatever color you used. I dyed my hair permanently black with box dye.. BAD IDEA!!!!!! And even though it was supposed to fade brown it was still a little green. my roots grew in and since I’m blonde it lowkey looked like my hair was thinning at my roots and almost if I was balding…. I put a dark arctic fox red over it all and it fixed everything temporarily until I could find some “gentle” bleach. ... show more

i’ve been dyeing my own hair with arctic fox for like 9 years now and it holds up as my favorite dye ever. i used lime crime’s 20-vol bleach kit to lighten my hair to a very light blonde and then applied the sunset orange dye! i always let mine sit for 2-3 hours because (1) it deep conditions which is GREAT after bleaching and (2) i do not use any heat to help the color set once the dye is applied. rinsed in lukewarm water very well and then used a teeny bit of color-friendly shampoo to get any last major remnants out. as you can see, it turned out more like a scarlet color - a very reddish orange. i personally LOVED the color! and it does eventually fade to a nice true orange. this picture is about 3 months old by now! it’s currently still a pretty vibrant orange, which is crazy because i use a CLARIFYING shampoo once a week! arctic fox dye holds up through my hair’s toughest battles. it does stain pillowcases, towels, and light-colored clothing, so be careful! it also stains the shower but it’s VERY easy to clean off of those surfaces - just use a foaming tile/bath cleaner and it’ll be like you were never there! ... show more

I paid a lot of money for a streak of my daughter’s dark brown hair to be bleached & dyed, only for the color to never appear bright and fade almost immediately. Well after this last time & realizing we’d never get the bright color she was wanting, i decided to order this product in the color red. I followed the directions perfectly except i only processed with heat for 3m instead of the recommended 15m (my daughter was antsy). Keep in mind, i used the dye on a streak of hair that was already bleached & had faded red salon hairdye in it. The color is SO BRIGHT!!!! Rinsed out her hair until water ran clear & it is PERFECT. Exactly what we had been trying to achieve from a professional reputable salon. From now on i plan to have her hair professionally bleached & then ill just dye it myself w this product. I dont even care how fast it washes out because nothing will be as fast as the salon dye. I plan to wash once a week w cold water & colorsafe soap, will update this review if something bad comes up. She also is a swimmer, curious how itll hold up in chlorine, but like i said, the BRIGHT COLOR is enough to make her happy. Ill do it over & over to keep it bright, and no more 3hr salon appointments :) ... show more

so the semi-perm means it last about 10 wash i guess, cause after 2 weeks or so of shower all the color is gone i usually use perm hair dye from like other brands but those usually like you mix the bottle n u gotta use it all at once or waste it, while this brand u can still reuse it if u didn't finish the bottle so i love that.. however cause i didnt expect it to wash out so fast is what lost a star for me, i know it's not perm but the semi still felt short.. cause usually perm hair dye would last me like 1/2 a yr+ before i have to reapply so those actually feels more worth it despite being 1 use.. ... show more

No.1 Todos los tintes suelen manchar el primer o segundo día, es normal, no es exclusividad de esta marca y en especial si se trata del ROJO, mancho más que yo en menstruación, (no es broma) No.2 Si quieres ponerte colores fantasía y tienes cabello oscuro TIENES QUE DECOLORARLO, es un requisito 👹 sin excepciones, esto se hace con toda marca de tintes fantasías NO ES EXCLUSIVO DE ESTA MARCA, decoloralo 🫵💀 No.3 Entrando ahora si en el ámbito de esta marca, es "duradera" me lo puse creo hace ya hace un mes, y se puede ver las diferencias del color entre el primer día y el actual. No.4 Me dejo muy bonito el cabello en mi caso, los yintes no me suelen maltratar el cabello pero tampoco me ayudan, este tinte me ayudo con mi cabello pero recuerden, cada cabello es diferente por lo que los resultados son diferentes🗿🗿🗿 Próximo tinte: Verde, de la misma marca.
