Product arrived with no instructions. Had to muddle through with my specific roof rack set up (Nissan Rogue). Kayak is the open type so we needed to mount it right side up. At first the kayak shifted from side to side and was very noisy so I re-arranged and tightened the straps. Straps were still very noisy in the wind while underway requiring me to tie rags around them to deaden the noise. Even with that we had to stop to adjust things every hour or so during a 5 hour ride. When I ordered, the picture was a 4 foam block canoe carrying kit, which it is still called. They switched the picture (which more accurately describes what they sent) to a 2 block Kayak carrying kit. Very frustrated by that.
