Disclaimer: I didn't actually end up using this set. I was planning to repair an old refrigerator for a relative, and hadn't actually been able to inspect the unit prior to visiting her house, so I wasn't aware that her refrigerator - despite being old - already had wheels installed on the bottom, therefore this set wasn't needed. Thus, I returned this set, unused, for a refund. However, if I had to find a good set with wheels I could trust not to crack, mounted on axles thick enough to bear the weight, made from thick enough steel and with easily-operated brakes of a design likely to be reliable for a lifetime of use, this would be the one I'd pick. Each corner of the appliance will ride on 6 wheels composed of what appears to be good polyurethane molded to an ABS hub, all on a 5/16" axle rod solidly peened into heavy gauge steel rails. I got these for our kitchen remodel. We were trying to figure out a way to move the Giant Wedgewood stove in and out easily around the hardwood install. These saved the day. I've decided to keep them on permanently so that I may roll my stove in and out to clean under it and literally so easy to move now. My flooring guy said this was the most brilliant idea for moving these heavy stoves around. It has a locking mechanism and did not damage the floors. The wheels are small and hard plastic not rubber. So you may want to not use on linoleum because it may dent if it sits in one place for a long time. Would be fine for hardwood or tile. They are heavy duty I wouldn't say industrial but not cheaply made. ... show more

I purchased this for my brand new washer and an older dryer. I have had them installed for over a month now. DOES IT STAY PUT WHEN THE MACHINES ARE IN USE? Yes. They do stay put. I was concerned with the agitation of the machine, that it would case it to move around. It doesn’t. They stay pleasantly still. EASE OF USE: It is easy to roll around your appliances. While the range of motion is limited to forward and back, we have a narrow space and it works great. EASE OF ASSEMBLY: It’s very easy to assemble and install on your own. It is even easier to install when you have an extra set of hands or a wedge or something to slightly prop the appliance on its side. DISLIKES?: If your floors don’t really have any tact or texture, if you lean on the appliance even with the locks on, the appliance will move. The wheels are a shiny kind of plastic, not rubbery. I do enjoy having this product on my appliances. It makes it easy to access the water, electrics and vents (systems behind the appliance). Under a larger appliance like a refrigerator, I would consider using 2 sets to support the weight of the appliance. I highly recommend this product and would absolutely repurchase then. ... show more

Used under side by side fridge. pros: Affordable. Universal fit. (2) add-on wheeled rails. Adjustable up to 32 inches in length. Sets appliance 1.7 inches higher from surface. (a plus to allow more air flow for a fridge.) Wheels roll easily till locked (use rubber wedge incl. to help secure in place) Easy to assemble, just one short stove bolt, washer and wing nut (came with 1 extra of each, 3 total) cons: Glued-on rubber grip pads came undone on one end of rail (back side) (other buyers complained of this too, knew this could happen prior to purchase and it happened) Wheel lock is questionable...but comes with rubber wedge-stops to put between each pair of front wheels as safety stoppers. Possible unforeseen problems: moving fridge side to side to position/reposition after cleaning the floor underneath or after cleaning dust from servicing unit...as the glued on pads slip under and pressure, meaning the rails, front to rear and side to side will misalign. Note*, The rails are not made to mount permanently to the bottom of the appliance they are used on. ... show more

The product works and does what it is advertised to do. Installation was challenging to get the alignment of the refrigerator posts correct and have the device rails in a straight line while lifting the refrigerator up onto the rails. This takes two people at least and I did it myself. Note: if you don't align the refrigerator bottom posts exactly on the black pads of the device, the weight of the refrigerator will buckle and bend the device... I corrected the bend and got it placed correctly. There are other devices out there for the same purpose of easy movement of a frig that I think might work better because they are all individual devices that sit under each frig post and can then move in any direction rather just forward and back. These roller are very well made and sturdy. Unfortunately they didn't work well with a small-medium freezer (7 cubic feet). The freezer kept falling off the rollers. I think they might work well with washers/dryers.

I have a front load Samsung washer and dryer, the smaller ones. I don't know cubic foot loads. I purchased these appliance sliders and they are a pain. Difficult to get the washer on because as soon as one side is on and you lift the other, the rail flips on its side and washer falls off. Once I finally got it situated, it works fine for moving around on hard floor. Complete garbage on carpet, won't budge an inch without falling off. Worst of all is after about four or five uses, the washer is falling off from vibrations. I don't overload by any means, it's just normal half loads of shirts and towels and such so there's vibration no matter what. I fear if it fell off during a cycle it might damage the washer. I removed immediately. My dryer is on a single 4-wheel platform that moves in all directions and feels a million times more solid plus moves on carpet. Just gonna get another one of those instead. Don't buy these things for washer/dryer or if you have carpet, it'll ruin your day. For non-shaky appliances and furniture, it's fine. ... show more
