I have had these same solar pool floats for a few years and have been happy with them in the past. I needed new ones, so I reordered using the “buy again.” These are MUCH smaller than the ones they used to make and the also stop working after a month or 2 because they fill up with water (and which you cannot remove). They have obviously gone to cheaper methods of manufacturing. I would NOT buy again! It is a damn shame, because the ones they made previously were of excellent quality, never filled with water, and lasted for several pool seasons. ... show more

It adds nice ambiance but does not illuminate under water enough to be the primary light source for nighttime use. It is super easy to use and a single remote works for multiple lights. We got these in April. Ordered 2 of them. They are usually out of the pool during the day in the sun. In California full charge all day. They light up the pool pretty good and have cool color options on the remote. Fast forward to October and 1 had died and does not turn on anymore. I tried the remote and it only flickers. I loved these solar lights for the pool so much I just bought 2 more. The remote works fine. I leave it on the changing of colors but you can choose one color. The only drawback is if they don’t get enough sun they don’t stay on long!
