Display is crystal clear for viewing, and you can interface it to your laptop or desktop computer, as well as an HDMI monitor. This arrived quickly and was a very easy setup. Worked right out of the box. I bought this as I am a coin collector and as an older person getting closeup detail was really hurting my eyes. Nice bright LEDs illuminate the base work area. What I like is that the brightness is adjustable so you don't wash out the surface of the object you are looking at. The extra lenses get you right into the details. It comes with a wired remote. Focus is really good and sharp on the display screen. It also comes with an mini SD card so that you can take photos and video of the objects you are viewing. You can also hook this up to your TV via the supplied HDMI cable If you are into electronics/repairs the all metal base makes for a great soldering platform. Overall, a good investment. ... show more

This is my initial impression and out of the box experience. The user manual was out of date, customer support sent a version 2 which included a figure on using the correct configuration of PC Camera mode (snap a pic or video from the PC rather than the device). Case Use Application: coin collection with photographic documentation, biological specimens occasionally CONs & Caveats HDMI - no simultaneously synched display - it's an either/or display - microscope and possibly computer screen (didn't get it to work). If you want both on get the 7 inch model. WIFI - Firmware has option to turn on wifi, absolutely no documentation or use scenario. Firmware begs more ease of use tweaks. Has a media player, but file management is weak until you disconnect screen and use the USB-C cable to browse the microSD card. I bought this microscope to assemble circuit boards for electronics work. The microscope was easy to assemble, easy to operate and works great. There two adjustable spot lights that put the light right where it's needed when working close up on objects. Both the position of the light and the intensity of the light is adjustable, making it easy to get the brightness on the LCD screen just right. There is a HDMI plug that can be connected to a large LCD display, but the built-in LCD is big enough to easily see anything you are working on. If you have limited bench top space, the built-in LCD display is all that is needed. Overall, this is a very good product for an excellent price and it costs FAR less than digital microscopes you find from industrial suppliers. ... show more

I did a TON of research before buy this and now that it's in my hands, I am thoroughly impressed. This went together simply enough and works exactly as described. I purchased this primarily for electronics assembly and repair work and it fits the bill beautifully. I just noticed the there is an upgraded model but the only difference I saw was the inclusion of an endoscope, an upgraded bracket, and a $30 price increase. I'm glad I got the older model because I don't ever see me having a need for an endoscope. I was looking at the AD246S-M (same basic model only with a 7" screen) but now that I'm seeing it, I'm glad I spent the extra couple bucks for the 10" model. ... show more

R.J. I received this item the next day- fantastic. I opened the box it was well-packed. As I checked all the parts were there. I attempted to assimilate it, and it took me a minute or two. LOL. Once I read the instructions and looked at the diagram/pictures. it was a matter of time, just a breeze. I connected it to my PC MONITOR and everything works perfectly. ( you also can connect it to your wall outlet that amazing) I tested it out with letters and coins and it's just what I was looking for. the price is ok, I am not going to complain about the price, you get what you pay for and I just love it. I haven't checked all the features yet, but I LOVE what I see/done so far. if you are looking for a good Microscope. Look no far, this is it. ... show more

High quality, very easy to use, appropriate packaging for shipping and storage between uses. The only thing that I would have liked included would be blank observation slides. 5 slides are included, but each has a specimen. That said, it doesn’t make me any less satisfied with the product, and I purchased the needed slides separately. The 3x digital zoom is helpful, and the buttons below the display allow you to review images and video directly from the built in display. It did come with a 32GB Micro-SD card (despite the manual indicating otherwise), so that was nice! Overall. I am completely happy with this purchase. I was able to easily observe the specimen and record them with high frame rate/resolution video and imagery without any eye strain. ... show more

I bought this microscope for fine assembly work, soldering, jewelry repair and similar needs. I is excellent for a digital scope but not quite up to the resolution you get with a good optical microscope. I do like the ability to photograph what you're looking at.
