This is a good heater for Amazon to slap its name on. My favorite feature is the one I thought I wouldn’t like at all which is the shut off when it’s tilted. Underneath the heater is a quarter-sized plunger that breaks the power flow when it slides out. It’s designed for people like me who tried to workaround or disable it with tape. Need a lot of strong duct tape or glue to succeed. So I tossed that idea because it didn’t stop the plunger from coming out at all and tape on the bottom made it tilt too. But, the instant shut-off also means I don’t have to touch the controls after setting it once. Just move the heater everywhere. Maybe it’s not what they planned but I can do this for the next 40 years without harming the heater. That plunger is a circuit breaker. Other great features are the 4 ft cord. Heat starts blowing within 3-5 seconds. Sometimes I wish it had a more obvious handle and a middle power setting at about 1000 watts. Other times, I’m happy it doesn’t. Heat output is pretty good. I’ve not used it above low setting or 750 watts. It has a cool surface, not cold or warm. It’s runs fairly quiet. No bells, whistles, rattles, or buzzing. At less than 3 feet away, it’s easy to talk using normal voices. The safety guidelines say it’s not for bathrooms which I think is true for most electronics. I bought this heater for my bathroom. I suffer from severe anemia so I am cold all the time. This heater has made a huge difference in comfort of showering. It heats very quickly and if it moves it will turn off so I feel it is safe as well. I would recommend.

We wanted this heater for our small camping trailer. First of all, I will say that it heats the camper beautifully even down to temperatures a bit below freezing. This is as cold as we’ve use it so far. This heater is fairly compact. I have seen smaller ones, but most are larger… and for no good reason. 1,500 watts is 1,500 watts. There are two control knobs — one for off/fan only/low/high and one for temperature control (thermostat). The fan only function is useless. The fan is loud and doesn’t move much air. You will never use this function. It’s not a replacement for a fan in the summer. The airflow is low, which is what you want with most heaters. You want the heat to spread, but you don’t want a breeze. The thermostat seems to work well. You can hear it click, which is good for setting it to a comfortable temperature. There is an orange light that is on all the time if the heater is turned on. On the bottom, there is a safety switch that will turn the unit off if it falls over or gets picked up. I’m giving it four stars. If the fan was quieter, I would give it five stars. Having said that, I would buy it again and would recommend it… especially when it is on sale! ... show more

This is just what I needed, for a great price too. Due to PAD and nephropathy my feet and calves feel VERY cold, even if the rest of my body is warm. And I haven't found any thermal socks or booties that will fit over my swollen ankles. So I decided to try a space heater, and it works beautifully; I keep it on medium heat and place it by my feet while I'm sitting, and it keeps my feet and lower legs warm while watching TV or working on my desktop. I really love this little heater: I was miserable before, but now my quality of life is greatly improved. BTW, after I'd ordered it, it arrived the next day! I couldn't be happier. By the way, it puts out so much heat for such a little heater, I'm sure that on high heat it would would warm up an entire room very quickly. Highly recommended. ... show more

Update: It stopped working a month and a day after we bought it. The light would turn on but no fan, air, heat. Nothing. Change to 1 star. I absolutely love a good space heater in my bathroom. For me? It’s a must have. I don’t like waking up in the morning or in the middle of the night to a cold tiled bathroom. And certainly not after a hot shower. And this thing heats up the space super fast! In fact, we don’t even turn it on to the highest temperature because it’ll get too warm! So I know it’d work well in larger spaces. This device was bought after buying a brand name heater and it got clogged, so we went with Amazon’s product. It puts out a really great amount of heat. I love the temperature option so that the bathroom stays toasty but not too hot and won’t consistently run. It provides a nice comfortable space in my bathroom. It feels very durable and its portability is another plus. The last brand name heater we had, had flimsy controls. This fan has a really sturdy click between functions. I also love its tip-over feature. With two cats running around, I wanted to make sure it’d have a functioning auto shutoff feature and it works great. The fan doesn’t blow out hard like a regular fan, but it’s great to cool the space down and run some air after a shower to dry out the space. Its value for the money is excellent and I’m really happy with it. Amazon has been making really great products as of late. Also there’s a slight smell when you first turn it on but it goes away within minutes. So don’t let that concern you. It was shipped very fast and the setup took seconds.
