The size given is correct only at the corners. You'll need to get some rope or a come-along to get this up yourself. It does come with rope, but not enough for what you might need. When it's setup, it's very nice, gives great shade and offers SOME rain protection, but not a lot.

This is a relatively small shade sail I'm using over a slider opening during certain times of the year when the Sun shines in. I like the material quality over the standard feedbag type of thick cheap poly weave. I find this a reasonable price at $30. I did have a palm-sized smudge on mine so I had to clean it before installing it.     • Not As Thick As Expected, but Nice Sail-Style Canopy
We are still working on installation, but the material is quite thin. Not at all what I was expecting. I'm not sure how this will stand up to heavy wind. Not looking forward to chasing it down as it flies away once a corner rips away from the rope or whatever securing it in place. Since it is light-weight, I can tell, once the wind grabs it perfectly, it will be gone. Or maybe it will stay in place, but rip apart instead. I can't think of a material to compare this to. It's not like a heavy canvas material. It's maybe twice as thick as parachute material. It's not sheer at all. I ordered the grey color, not the dark grey. Just the grey. Darker than concrete grey, but not a rich, bold grey. It's a dulled color for sure. Overall, this canopy is OK. Will likely last most of 1 summer season. ... show more

We have wanted a sail for a long time to provide shade and to protect the pool from debris from a neighbors tree. We chose the Amagenix Waterproof Sun Shade Sails Canopy in Rust Red, and the color we received was what we expected back on the product photos. The sail is thick, sturdy material that feels well made with no fraying threads or seams that are off. I purchased this to keep dry while entering the house. Just hung this yesterday 2-3-2024 and it is clearly leaking water through the material just from a light misting. I would not recommend this to anyone looking to keep dry. Stitching is coming apart. False advertising! Poorly made. Cheap material. Not worth it! The only thing I like is the color. ... show more
