I foster dogs and recently upgraded my workstation. Needed a way to combine a computer desk with a dog crate. Voila, Amazon to the rescue. Crate is a great value, easy to assemble & very sturdy. It looks great in my office too. Highly recommend.

This is a very nice dog crate. It's made well (very sturdy) and it looks nice. But my favorite part is it's easy to clean. The tray slides out for easy cleaning and returns just as easy. When delivered, you have to put it together, but it didn't take long.

    • Really Needs Better Instructions and Better Parts Labeling

All the parts were in the box and were undamaged during shipment. The fasteners were in numbered bags, which was good and the main machine screws were hex head which made them very easy to install. But, the individual parts had only a single number label. Lacking was more labeling indicating orientation such as "this side UP",, or "this side to FRONT". The instruction booklet wasn't very clear on the orientation of some of these items, resulting in partial disassembly to correct orientation of some screw holes. The instruction booklet was also somewhat difficult to read. A QR code or URL to a pdf version would be extremely helpful. All the parts fit together properly, but the finish is rather rough, especially in the two door lock mechanisms which don't slide smoothly. Assembly time with two people was about 1.5 hours. The included tool was a combination hex wrench and Phillips screwdriver. It was adequate, but I used a hex bit on a drive handle and a traditional Phillips screw driver bor better control and user comfort. ... show more

I was a little hesitant on getting this due to some reviews about different pieces not lining up properly... but I'm glad I got it. Anyone with a brain can follow the instructions and put this thing together. Instructions are easy to follow and the pictures are detailed. Be sure to take your time and look at the orientation of the holes on the pictures. Crate itself looks/feels of good quality. The metal parts have a rough texture to it and the doors lock like any standard wired crate. The top panel of wood is heavy and sturdy. My mini dachshund hopped right in it after I put it together and slept through the night. ... show more

Nice looking piece. Tray fit is a little tight. Husband had it put together when I got home. I didn't expect my dog reaction to it. I don't think he cares for the closed/solid table top on it. I'll have to work with him on that.
