  • MidWest is the Best
Color: Black Size: 48.0"L x 30.0"W x 33.0"H
I've had several other brands and generic crates but MidWest is the best by far. They are sturdy, everything lines up well. They look nice and have great locks. There is plenty of space for a growing pup and come with the divider so you can adjust as they grow. They are easy to vlean and comfortable. Being collapsible is great for travel or storage. As a dog trainer, these are my favorite. Every dog should be crate trained. It's so important for your puppies safety to be crated when you aren't home or you can't watch them, it only takes a second for them to chew an electrical cord or ingest something dangerous or toxic. Crates should never be used for punishment but thought of as their den. Dogs naturally don't want to make a mess where they sleep so using the Divider is important to keep the size just so they can lay down comfortably but not have too much room where they can potty on one side and sleep on the other. It's also important to remember that puppies can only hold their bladder for 1 hour to each month old they are. So a 2 month old pup can go 2 hours. Large breed dogs may go longer and small breeds shorter. So you may need to arrange for someone to take your pup outside if you work long hours. Or doggie day care. ... show more

  • Giant breed kennel!
Color: Black Size: 54.0"L x 37.0"W x 45.0"H
This is well built and huge! We have English Mastiff's and want them to be comfortable while we are gone. He can romp around and chase his tail in this! We use toddler/crib mattresses for our dogs and it fits in this perfectly! Yes, please make note of the size because a crib mattress easily fits! So look at your space and ask yourself if you could set up a crib there before buying. This is very tall as well. It went together well but not without help. Two people are required unless your an octopus. The box is heavy and required two people to unload from the truck it was delivered in. I was anxious to build it so it took myself and two middle school boys to get it up our 5 deck steps. Did I mention it's huge!😂 With help building it was pretty straightforward and only took 15 minutes. All that said you will need a very large space to build this. The side panels have to hook in while it's laying flat and then they pop in place to stand up. So whatever room you plan on setting it up in has to have space to build it in. Think moving the couches out of the way for this one! Because it's not a collapse and fold. We think it's great and our giant love's it. We have two giant goobers and they both like to lay in their throughout the day. However, I don't think I'd let them be in there together while we're gone. It's big but I think they'd get tangled up and be uncomfortable. If you have a Giant and a smaller breed you'd like to bunk together. That would totally be doable in this. It's a five star for us and could be for you assuming you understand what you're buying! ... show more

  • WOW! Impressive!
Color: Black Size: 24.8"L x 17.9"W x 19.5"H
I absolutely love this crate! It was incredibly easy to set up—took me less than a minute. The wheels were a wonderful surprise, making it so much easier to move around. The leak-proof pan and floor-protecting feet are also fantastic features, ensuring everything stays clean and safe. Compared to other crates I’ve had, this one is so much nicer—sturdier, more convenient, and better designed. The divider panel is a great bonus. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly dog crate! ... show more

  • Awesome HUGE crate - but packing/shipping is poor so be ready for some damage
Color: Black Size: 54.0"L x 37.0"W x 45.0"H
This crate is wonderful for our Dane mix - so much headroom. Once put together, it is sturdy "enough". I think you have to expect a small amount of give at this size and price point (for us, it was either this one or $500 for the over-the-top version at the local farm store). I love the fact that it has 2 doors and if we leave the doors open my dog still gets in it all the time. BTW, I highly recommend the 54" bolster pad to go on top of the bottom tray (I didn't buy it on Amazon though - found it much cheaper elsewhere). We are very satisfied with this crate and it functions as expected, although I will say we have a relatively calm dog. We might even use it for our chickens eventually as sometimes we have to separate them due to injury, etc. The bad: Packaging is POOR. This really needs to be packed within a wood frame. When ours arrived, the cardboard was shredded, mangled, and crate loops were sticking out through the cardboard everywhere. Several loops were bent with obvious areas of scraping/dragging where the enamel paint was completely worn off. Also, this created several sharp edges and they aren't really that smooth to begin with. The styrofoam was just obliterated. Every break open a bean bag? That's what it was like and it took about 45 minutes just to shop-vac the beads and get all the clingy pieces off the crate itself. Fortunately, the damage was not TOO extreme, and we could CAREFULLY bend everything back where it should go and assemble the crate at last. It's scuffed but fully functional. I still recommend this crate because good luck finding one this size for a similar price, but just be prepared for the imperfections and overall time you will spend getting it right and cleaning up. We have wood floors so be sure to put it on a rug or similar if your floors scratch easily. Oh and yeah, sure you can return it, but our box was so damaged the pieces were practically falling out already, and this thing weighs 90 lbs; not even sure if it would fit in a smaller car. Who wants to lug this thing to UPS? Besides, it took TWO WEEKS to arrive (even though we have Prime) and we needed it "like yesterday". If they would package this thing better I would give 5 stars. Don't be turned off by my comments, because we are happy with our purchase; just don't be upset when/if it arrives imperfect and be ready for some modifications. ... show more
