For even this price I believe they could have done better. Very cheap and the springs are very prominent and can be felt. There’s no memory foam with this mattress at all. That’s all just to get you to buy it. Once you open the dang thing you debate on returning it bc of the size. DO NOT BUY.

The only thing I didn't like is that I thought the bed was vacuum sealed in a seperate bag. Instead, it was rolled up tightly in the type of strong plastic wrap that is used to wrap the outside of pallets. I had it on the floor and I started cutting the wrap with the cutter they supplied. I was anticipating placing the mattress on the bed after removing what I thought was just the outer wrapping. I was panicking when I saw the mattress starting to expand on the floor. I have issues lifting heavy things since my recent surgery. Luckily, a family member was there to help me put it on the bed. Other than that, I let it completely do "it's thing" for 48 hours. It looked like it was ready to be slept on right away, but I didn't. I cannot discern any smell especially with freshly laundered sheets. When I first get into bed, the mattress feels a bit bouncy, but when I lay on it, it feels very comfortable. I would say the firmness is around a medium to medium firm. My last mattress was softer, so I can feel the difference. I have had two nights of practically uninterrupted sleep. I really like this mattress. I now look forward to going to bed at night. With my last mattress, I put off going to bed until very late because it had become so uncomfortable. These last two days I have even slept in because I'm comfy. Also, I haven't felt any achiness when I get out of bed. It's amazing what a difference a comfortable mattress makes. I bought this mattress during Amazon Prime Days, and it was only $185.00, plus I clicked for an additional $5.00 off. I'd say I got more than my money's worth, even if it only lasts a few years. To be honest, paying so little, I don't expect it to last more than five years, but it's so worth it to me right now. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy a mattress in a box but so glad we did. The instructions say that it may take up to 24 hours for the mattress to inflate once you unseal the package (it comes with a tool to rip the heavy plastic), but the instant we opened the bag, the mattress inflated completely within 10 seconds. It took a few hours for the springs to fully inflate, but the mattress was sleep-ready within an hour or so of opening the box. Perfect firmness and feel, great quality & value. The box that it arrives in is VERY HEAVY and the Amazon driver had dropped ours onto the porch, the box had split open and it rained while we were working, but the very heavy plastic seal kept the mattress protected. This is overall a very nice mattress but... I gave it low stars because it is soupy as all hell, it's very poofy feeling ,and caused a bit of trouble when my dogs jumped up and nearly shot my husband into the floor it's no where close to being medium - firm. I would recommend that you buy firm or extra firm if like me, what was shown in the demo video seemed like the lady barely moved the mattress when she sat down.It did however allow for great sleep but if you have an active sex life I would go with a stiffer mattress. ... show more
