I bought the 4-camera system about 1 year ago. I was replacing a more expensive Lorex system I already had, but this one is better. The image was more clear and sharp. Playback was smoother too and it has AI to recognize a human body or face. I replaced the HDD with a 2TB SSD and it holds about 90 days of video from all 4 cameras in high resolution. It is clear and sharp enough to read license plates on cars in my driveway. I do not give reviews often! This is a great product and value! Most simplistic setup. Both moniter and phone software use. 6 minutes total 2 operate with 1 test camera. I have installed and used older systems and this is system is wonderful. Great images and night vision is way above expectations!

This is a great value with 4 cameras for home use. Cameras have great resolution at 3MP sufficient for our home needs, NVR is well built, nice unit, and also the 2TB drive at that price is a great value. Had a couple of issues: 1) Viewing on PCs does not support Windows 11, Windows 10 instead. We are 20 months into Win11 availability. Concerning for sure. 2) On Android, the overview display of the cameras - has a time out of 10 (ten) minutes! Apparently connects to their servers to display (hence their concern of time burning their bandwidth with no contract or fee). I have a tablet with my previous system that streams any camera 24/7 no fee. The 10min limit is silly. There should be a local LAN viewer that streams directly from the NVR onto your local LAN (the cameras have their own Wifi SSID which I do like - no bandwidth conflict with my home network). Their email support was EXCELLENT – prompt (given they are in China and the hours are off – leave something tonight in USA timezone and get a response by morning ) Clear perfect English, and exacting instructions. Setup was as simple as one could imagine – but their documentation that it came with was totally off – not sure what happened there. Don’t follow that doc for sure. Plug in and GO! Nothing's perfect and this is a great value with 4 cameras for home use. ... show more

System is great! Setup was extremely easy, all cameras auto-connected and picture perfect! One camera had a pink hue in whole screen that could not be fixed in settings. Customer service opted to sent a new camera unit, arrived next day- it too was an easy setup and replacement. Would definitely recommend this unit and this brand! ... show more

I installed the four wireless cameras at a friend's house and I was really surprised at how easy it was to install and configure. I screwed the two antennas onto each camera and connected them to the outlet, put in two screws and held them in place with two wood screws. You have to make a hole in the wall to insert a small cable that has two configuration switches that are already configured. The image on both the TV monitor and the cell phone app was sharp and clear, even at night. So far they haven't given me any problems, I've only cleaned the lenses because of dust. I really appreciated not having to run cables through the ceiling or walls. The reception is good all the way to the garage. Of course!! I installed the base in one of the rooms in the center of the house so that the signal would be optimal for all sides of the house. ... show more

About a year ago we had someone enter our yard and murder all our pet hens. We live on about 2 acres and the coop is on the far end from the house behind two fences, one 10 feet tall and the other about 6. We know that it was a person and not an animal as the police did an investigation and an autopsy. There was a ritualistic aspect and we learned that others had had the same issue with their flocks of chickens, ducks, and turkeys. My cousin bought this product and set it up when two of his horses were stolen (he got them back). He said it was shockingly easy to set up and so we bought one and it's true! We had the whole system up and running in minutes and it works perfectly. The cameras also can relay against each other and with no additional hardware we now have cameras across the acreage. It auto-detects movement and humans and is easy to see who (and what) has been on our property. We also posted a sign saying that the coop was being filmed and we've had zero repeat issues (neither has my cousin's horses). Wished we had done this sooner. Replaced an older NVR that wasn't working well with this one. I am familiar with the app and vendor, so it was a simple choice. Pros: Familiar with the software and setup was very quick and easy. The cameras are great, the dual antenna works well for my situation. I get much better signal then an older version of this same NVR. Video is crisp and clear, night vision works great at my home. App works fine on my phone, video shows fine as well, no complaints. Cons: System was having errors and rebooting every 5-10min so I tested the hard drive and it was defective. It uses a 7200rpm drive which is fine for this sort of use, but it has moving parts so I'm guessing the shipment from China to my door killed it. The drive was VERY hot when I opened the case. I put the HDD through various tools and they all said it was dead, couldn't initialize. Replaced with a Enterprise class 2TB HDD I had sitting around, formatted fine and should be ok. No way to upgrade the firmware over the web, only USB. Can't find any website with current firmware, emails to support go unanswered and their support site is bad. Their main site is pretty basic, feels very 1990s quality. Power supply has a short cord, not even 3ft long. If you need to put this somewhere not close to a wall plug, plan for an extension cord. Will update again if anything else breaks. Not a very complicated system but if you have serious issues I am not super confident their support will be of much use. ... show more
