It's definitely worth the money and beautiful. The legs are sturdy plastic and the only thing you have to install. The fireplace itself is sturdy plastic. My room is pretty big and it don't take long for this thing to heat it up on the low setting. The fire simulation looks beautiful and realistic. Unless you look at it from the side view of the glass. Then you clearly see its fake fire lol If I have to move it to a new location like up or downstairs, I practice common sense of course. Because of the glass or hard plastic. I can't tell lol And because I don't know how fragile that fire simulation might be it you shake it or drop it. Handle with care and common sense and I'm sure it will last long. This tiny heater works great! I don’t have a lot of space to heat and this heater is more than enough to warm up my space. In fact, I’ve never put the setting past low so maybe that’ll give you an idea of it’s power. The only complaint I have is that it doesn’t stop oscillating unless you unplug it but I’m sure that’s probably just a safety precaution. We bought this space heater for use in a rarely used spare room. When I opened it, I thought it was going to be too small, but I have never seen a heater this size put out so much heat. More than adequate for our 160 square foot spare bedroom. As an added bonus, we did not even realize it had an oscillating feature until it arrived. I took one star off the safety features because although the heater base is about 6 inches by 6.5 inches, it actually sits on the oscillating base which is a 4 inch diameter circle, so it feels a tad top heavy. It does have a safety tip switch, but you definitely want this to set on something solid; wood floor, tile, just not carpet. Overall, a lot of heat and value for your money. Nothing much to add here, a great little heater. Powerful, quiet efficient and does the job to heat a desk area. So you set the thermostat, heat stops but the oscillation continues. The circuits are controlled separately. The oscillator has its own switch. Not a deal breaker and does remind you that the unit is on, but unexpected. Next the control knob is poor choice, a better easier to position like on this unit ( https://amzn.to/3esJG70 ) would of been better. Overall recommend, the knock over kill-switch and solid construction were pluses. ... show more
