  • Floored
Color: 078 Rich Amber Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Seriously amazed at how vibrant the color is and how well it took to my hair! I can't speak for the lasting power as I just dyed it last night, but the process was easy and I was able to get all the color off with no staining. I'm not marking it down for this as everyone's hair is different, but I will say that some of the colors may not work for you as they have for others. First picture shows my natural color, which I would call an ashy dark blonde. I wanted to go for a dark brown so I ordered the color Mocha. Since I was gong to a darker brown from an ashy blonde, I read that yous hould first do a warmer color as a base to combat the green in the dark brown. I ordered the spiced amber - - going by the swatch, that looked like the closest to my natural color but just a bit warmer. Well, it turned out to be A LOT warmer. I used the entire bottle and just saturated my hair. Left it on for only 20 minutes. In the 2nd and 3rd photo, you can see that the Spiced Amber turned out looking more like the Ginger color on my hair. I hated it. I immediately followed with another shampoo, and then coated my hair with a combo of conditioner and the color Mocha. I used about 2/3 of the bottle for this. I left that on for 2 hours and the last 2 picture are the result. So obviously the base copper color was not needed here and when this all washes out, I'll just use mocha on its own. I like it more than my natural and I'm still very impressed with the priceand quality of this product! ... show more

  • This stuff is to dye for!!
Color: 116 Purple Rage Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
TL,DR: this stuff is legit, works on unbleached (but lightened) hair, it’s an alcohol-free aloe vera based formula, AND you get two bottles for the price of one!! That’s right — 2 for 1! My light brown hair asked for a colorful makeover. The last time I had dyed it was half a decade ago, and before then I kept going back and forth between carrot-top and tomatohead. I figured this time, should I embody a beetroot? Challenged accepted! And thus began this mission. Because my hair cannot handle bleach, I researched what is the best way to transform unbleached hair to purple. The first step was to lighten the hair a shade or two. I stumbled upon a variety of natural methods, and ended up doing a homemade paste of sorts using 3% hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and honey, leaving it on for 30 minutes before washing. I applied it twice — waited about two weeks between application. It made my hair a dark orangey copper the first time, then slightly more golden the second time. Nostalgia almost convinced me to stay with that color, but no… The mission was to get that bloody beetroot! The next step was finding a dye that works on unbleached hair. I had used “Wildfire” flavored Manic Panic the last time I dyed my hair, to obtain that spicy candy red. It didn’t let me down before, so why not go with that brand again, right? Ha! Right. It was quite the letdown. The concoction was more like a color depositing conditioner that didn’t deposit any color. Such deception… but! My determination superseded that feeling, so back to the drawing board I went. After researching legit semi-permanent dyes, I stumbled upon a few, one of them being Adore. I was leaning towards Arctic Fox at first, but after reading almost all the Amazon reviews on this product, I opted for their Purple Rage and Truly Red. I first applied the purple to most of my hair, then applied red to the bottom portion, the bangs, and some of the front strands of hair. I twisted each portion of hair like a cinnamon bun, covered them with a plastic cap, and “put them in the oven” by wrapping a heating pad around the cap (one review suggested to apply heat and mentioned using the heating pad instead of a hairdryer). Because I didn’t want to relive the panic Manic Panic gave me, I left the dyes on for about four hours to ensure proper color absorption. I then unwrapped and uncoiled the hair and washed the dyes out with only conditioner and not so warm but not cold water. And… As you can see from the photos, this stuff really works! To my surprise, the dyes actually didn’t leave my bathtub looking like the aftermath of La Batalla del Vino. The purple dye did leave a few small streaks, but they came off completely right after I cleaned the tub. Also, I didn’t realize at first, but this dye has no alcohol! I avoid any and every hair product with any variation of alcohol in it. My hair appreciates sobriety and hydration. The aloe vera in this formula provides the kind of hydration my hair unexpectically needed from a hair dye. It’s also worth mentioning the package comes with two bottles of dye for the price of one — same size bottle as Arctic Fox, but at half the cost! In this economy, that is most definitely a win. I ended up with four bottles altogether. Just one bottle of each color sufficed. Even after using so much of the one bottle of purple dye, I still had plenty left over. I put some in a separate bottle, added conditioner, mixed them up, and did the same in another bottle with the red. Although it ended up looking like a female Magneto and not so much a beetroot, I’d still consider this mission accomplished! I’m dyeing to try out other colors when I bluelieve I’m redy — maybe in another five years, maybe sooner! So, yeah… 10/10 would recommend! ... show more

  • Great color good price (emerald)
Color: 168 Emerald Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Definitely leaves a vibrant color I've had it for I think a month or two and it hasn't faded at all I even used a little bit of purple shampoo in the second picture to try and bring out the blue and minimize the green tones... Absolutely love it and will be using this brand again to dye my hair other colors... The only thing is I would recommend what I did anyways was I mixed it with conditioner and applied one coat and then I had applied a top coat with just the dye just to kind of feel out and see what kind of tone I want because it will still work if you mix it with conditioner and you want a desired different tone... It will wash and fade out more if you use the direct color I noticed when I used the conditioner mixed in with it oddly enough it faded less...idk why when it's usually the opposite for me. Also my hair is I think an inch or two past my shoulders and I only needed one bottle because of the way I had did it (mixing it). ... show more

  • Adore’s been my go to hair dye(:
Color: 158 Mystic Gray Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)
My hair was a level 9-10, with about an inch of natural black root, and I previously had Adore Titanium which faded about 23 days. I wash my hair once a week and the titanium faded to a silver before I decided to go for mystic gray. Mystic gray has more of a blue undertone and I’d say titanium has more of a purple undertone. My hair length is about 18-20” and I used half of one bottle and mixed it with white conditioner. It was enough for my hair, as my hair isn’t as thick as it used to be, but not that thin either. I left it on for 20 minutes without heat and applied it on dried hair. It’s definitely darker than titanium but I like the blue undertone. I can’t wait to see what it fades too (: I previously used cotton candy and lavender and I loved it every time. Faded nicely too before I decided to go back to one color/silver. ... show more

  • More than I Expected
Color: 142 Pink Blush Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This color is super vibrant. I only used the bottles pictured to achieve this color and it is bright. The color did not bleed after dying, and the color has not bled or faded in over a year. If you are hesitant about trying it please give it a try; you wont be disappointed.
