Needed to replace current product that finally broke after lots of use. This one was the same but 50 ml instead of our current 20 ml. Basically just short of forcing the tubes on with locking pliers, could not get any of the tubes to catch. Finally took the same part off old syringe and screwed into new one. This set was the most useful and comprehensive hand feeding and syringe set offered and at a great value. We have not yet needed the syringe set, but have it on hand for emergencies. With baby birds there is no time to wait for an order and I have not seen a complete set like this in stores. I wanted the bulb syringe on hand if needed for suction. The actual crop needles are great. The syringe with this is kinda cheap and clunky, but it gets the job done. The needles are universal size to fit on a standard slip tip or luer lock syringe.

INSPECT THE NEEDLES! (It was worth saying again.) Make certain that the blunt billed ends are firmly attached to the needle shaft. Also, check for burrs/sharp unfinished edges. The bell on the 18ga needle slipped off with little test force / wiggling (see pic). Needless to say, this could prove lethal in an otherwise life-saving tool. The media could not be loaded. I do Wildlife Rehabilitation and prep feeding is necessary for some of the babies that cannot eat on their own the spoon worked out great too. Good product!
