Lighters are solid, do what they are intended to do. Buys should know they do not ship with fuel. Thats apparently a regulation, But the instructions to fill the lighters are included and easy to follow.

These are a handy size for use around the house, garage, and outdoors. The torches I received fill well and light well, however, the flame adjustment knob is a very fine adjustment and I do wish it could be just a little coarser for a larger range. I'd give them 5 stars if this were the case.     • Great for Cheap "Table" lighters
I use these things all over the place. For cooking with culinary butane, for lighting cigars, for starting fires in the fire pit, etc. Functionality is flawless. The flame adjustment is a bit stiff, but I sort of prefer that, so I'm not always having to reset it when picking it up again after a while. Keep in mind, these do use quite a bit of butane, so be sure to buy one of the larger bottles. ... show more

The ones that worked, worked great, but 2 were broken. So Iguess they're on the cheap side.

I am very pleased with these lighters. I like that they are refillable, and they work very well. The flame adjustment only minimally effective, but I tend to use any lighter at full power anyway so it doesn't bother me. CAUTION: The directions say to let the lighters sit for a while after refilling and this is SO important, because if you don't, the residual butane will tend to flare a bit around the top. Giving it a few minutes to dissipate will prevent this from happening. Overall, I am very pleased with these lighters and have placed them strategically around the house, garage and RV. ... show more

Amazon Vine customer review of free product I’ve never used a torch lighter before, so I can’t compare this to others, but these are fantastic. They’re super easy to use, completely windproof, and an incredible value with an eight-pack included. After using these, I can’t imagine going back to a regular lighter. The lighters are shipped empty due to shipping regulations, so you’ll need to pick up a can of refill butane. I learned that this is very inexpensive at places like Walmart. Before refilling the torch, it’s important to release any air pressure in the lighter by pressing the valve with a screwdriver or similar tool. The included instruction booklet explains this. If the torch is under too much pressure, refilling it could cause the butane to spray everywhere, which might be dangerous. However, if you release the air and firmly apply the butane canister in a vertical position, refilling is straightforward and mess-free. Bottom line: I love these torch lighters and can’t imagine how I lived without them before! 🙂 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ⚠️ Important Safety Update ⚠️ After using these torch lighters for a while, I experienced a safety issue. Keeping the torch ignited for about 30 seconds resulted in a sudden fireball-like flash near my hand. It wasn’t a continuous flame—just a quick burst, as if excess fuel had ignited all at once. I immediately released the trigger, and it burned out on its own. I wasn’t burned, but it was definitely alarming. I’m unsure whether this specific lighter is defective—possibly leaking fuel without me noticing—or if these torches simply aren’t designed to stay on for extended periods. When this happened, I had it tilted at about a 45° downward angle. A warning sign I noticed beforehand was the flame suddenly getting stronger. At first, I assumed it was just adjusting, but in hindsight, it may have been releasing too much fuel. I’m not trying to replicate the issue since it was both scary and dangerous. I also don’t know if this was an isolated defect or a potential design flaw. Regardless, I wanted to share this as a precaution. If you notice the flame behaving unpredictably, be cautious and consider stopping use. ... show more
