This thing is seriously powerful. The pull to start it is very short which was a pleasant surprise, and it fired right up on the second pull (first pull did the pretend start with choke on, moved to half choke, second pull, fired up, set to open choke and it purred beautifully). It is semi-heavy, I can't really see people of small frame not struggling with it a bit but the "pack" frame is sturdy and distributes the weight well so once you have it on your back you should be fine no matter your size. It's that initial "umph" to pick it up and put your arms through the straps where lighter framed folks might find a bit of a struggle. I say this as a 6'4" 260 lb man, btw. So far used it once to test it out. We already have leaves falling in a noticeable amount, so I had a good test ground for it. The wind coming out of the front of it is a veritable hurricane of force, and you can move leaves from entire swaths of your yard just by standing in one place, and it pushes them out there quite a bit. In short, trial run, it's my Minigun from Predator mowing down leaves and pummeling them into submission. LOVE IT! Will follow up review after autumn is over for a full season review. ... show more

I was definitely nervous when the box arrived. It was open and definitely beat up! Could use a bit more packing protection inside since it seems like a gorilla got to it during shipping. I thought I was going to have to return it. But as it turned out everything was still in the box and assembly was easy. It fired up right away and has been working reliably like a champ all summer. The real test is coming in the next couple of months when the leaves begin to fall. This machine is NOT HEAVY for the size and power it puts out. It's very comfortable to wear when adjusted properly and it blows very strongly! Exactly what you want in this type of Machine. The tube parts could be a bit more snug but overall they connect well. I couldn't Ask for more bang for your buck! I'm very happy with this product and I look forward to using it for years to come. ... show more

i am so sorry , i did not right. i dot the echo under warranty but echo and seller not help to fix . i love this machine so far but the cost still litter high. hope cost down more for a lot people can use it. Thanks

So far, have been impressed with this blower. Very powerful. Wish there was a way to have less air at idle. More powerful at idle than my electric blower at full speed.

30mins and you need to see a chiropractor. You will be in pain for hours after. Holy crap i didn't know it was so damn heavy.

Was bigger than I had expected., and I thought I could handle the weight of it. But the item when receiving it said no returns .

    • This thing BLOWS
6-18-24. I have only used it twice but it is very powerful and starts right up. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a powerful blower. I will give an update in a few months.
