This leaf blower came in what most would consider a small box compared to a gas leaf blower. The good thing is it's easy to assemble. The leaf blower is good for older folks and those that have a problem holding a heavier gas blower. The power of the blower seems to be fine for a typical yard job. It didn't overheat and the trigger switch made it easy to start and stop it. This unit came with a battery and charger. The charger seems to be a lower quality but as long as it charges that is what matters. The battery came and was about 66% charged. I charged it overnight and it showed a full charge and ran okay. It's definitely not an extended life battery but good enough to complete a regular size yard job. I would buy again. If you have the battery Craftsman weedeater, buying the extended battery would be a good investment because you can use the extended life battery in both the weedeater and the blower. ... show more

Bought a used one at a good price but the battery it came with didn’t work - we kept it tho because we loved the blower itself and have other tools with the same battery to use. Nice handy dandy tool. I tried returning just the battery but not allowed so I didn’t even bother fighting based on what I paid. ... show more

Bought this item last week. Battery would not take a charge. It’s odd that it came completely dead. Usually there’s a little juice in a battery. Plugged it in to various outlets. Green light comes on for a second then goes off. Left it for hours. Still dead. We returned it and replaced with a new one. Exact same issue. Charging a battery is not rocket science. You put it in, it clips in and you plug it in. Obviously we did that because it did go green briefly. Instructions say it should stay green when charging. Nope. Just a bad product or at least a bad battery or charger. Never got to try the actual product. FYI, called Craftsman phone number on manual and found out the product is discontinued and they could not offer support. Do not buy. ... show more

I have owned one of these blowers for a couple of years now and I really like it. I decided to get one for my sister for her birthday this year. The battery included with the blower didn’t charge. When I contacted Amazon, they wouldn’t just replace the battery. I had to return the original blower and they sent me a new one. When that one arrived, again, the battery wouldn’t charge. I ended up simply buying a new battery. This is a nice blower, but I think the ones that Amazon is selling must have been on the shelf for a long and the batteries are too old to charge. I use it mostly for cleaning out the garage and walkways around the house. It does that well, and the battery seems to last well. I wish it had a visible battery meter but I guess at this price that’s too much to ask.
