Performs well, lots of power for a ~50cc unit, one of the best holster designs in the market. A real value at this size and price range. WARNING: Almost returned the unit due to weak performance until I realized (albeit while packing it back in the box for return ) a small end cap that attaches to smallest outlet tube was stored inside the main outlet tube from factory packaging and needed to be removed prior to use as it was obstructing the airflow. Had a un-duh moment, and decided to remove and give it another try before making the trip to return. Once the cap restricting the airflow was removed, this. thing pushed voluminous air FAST and HARD. Saw some reviews where users experienced low power out of the box - have to assume this was due to them not removing the end cap from the main outlet from the factory packaging, Check that out because I think it's one of the reasons why they say the blower has no power. ... show more

Wow, this Husqvarna blower is terrific. I wish I had known about it sooner. I have three smaller blowers, but they cannot compare. This one gets the job done quickly. It's a quick and easy start every time.

    • Another throw away tool
Worked great first time I used it. This year it bogs down and stalls if I give it gas. I took it apart and cleaned the carb, replaced the fuel filter and spark plug. I checked the gas and air, still it bogs down. To put things in perspective, my riding mower is from 1998 and still runs. I know how to maintain motors. This piece of junk is a waste of time. If I buy a brand new carb it's around $170 and I'll throw this it in the trash before I do that since this is only the second time I used it. Look at different blowers, this is a lemon. ... show more

    • Powerful, comfortable and meets expectations
I had a Husqvarna handheld blower and have been happy with it for years but I needed something bigger. I did a LOT of researching and product comparisons and landed on this 150BT model. I've only had it for a week now but I must say, I am quite impressed! It's really powerful and moves loads of leaves, even wet ones, easily. And for its power, it's not crazy noisy. Ear protection is still needed of course however it's less loud than some others I have experienced. The shoulder pads and back pad are comfortable. I also like the waist-level belt you can use to better support and center the unit on your body while you are using it. The throttle is ergonomic and easy to use/hold. The assembly instructions leave something to be desired, however. Mostly it's just the set of tubes you have to attach out of the box, but the paper instructions are not really clear so after a wee bit of trial and error, I figured out how the all go together. The rest of the Quick Start instructions for how to fire it up are fine though. It does require a gas-oil mixture so you need to find a way to mix those, or just use some premixed 50:1 stuff in the can. this is the best leaf blower I have ever used the air flow that comes out is unreal I have used this all day the gas tank gas last about 1.5 to 2 hours very good built leaf blower your right arm will start to go to sleep when using it for about 6 hours other than that great glad I got it

The Husqvarna 150BT Gas Leaf Blower is a powerhouse leaf blower that has the Husky brand reputation behind it. I was able to purchase the blower during prime Days and it was 24% off, which was a substantial savings and by purchasing the premix fuel at the same time, I was able to extend the warranty to a total of 5 YEARS! While I doubt I will ever need much warranty service, there is a Husky dealer in my town that stocks parts and can service the blower with expertise, should the need arise. I used the blower for the first time yesterday and it fired right up and ran like a champ. Power is plentiful and the maple leaves are now in a pile and no longer covering the driveway. I feel that my backpack leaf blower has a great deal of power and is easy to start. My advice to anyone who assembles it is to use a little bit of WD40 or silicone to lube the tubes for easy assembling.
