Performs well, lots of power for a ~50cc unit, one of the best holster designs in the market. A real value at this size and price range. WARNING: Almost returned the unit due to weak performance until I realized (albeit while packing it back in the box for return ) a small end cap that attaches to smallest outlet tube was stored inside the main outlet tube from factory packaging and needed to be removed prior to use as it was obstructing the airflow. Had a un-duh moment, and decided to remove and give it another try before making the trip to return. Once the cap restricting the airflow was removed, this. thing pushed voluminous air FAST and HARD. Saw some reviews where users experienced low power out of the box - have to assume this was due to them not removing the end cap from the main outlet from the factory packaging, Check that out because I think it's one of the reasons why they say the blower has no power. ... show more

I purchased this Husqvarna 150BT leaf blower it arrived on sunday Nov 10th, I unboxed and was ready for leaf duty in my yard on Tuesday morning. this unit was extremely hard to start , I had to pull it over 20 to 25 times to get it to start. finally it started and I did my first trial run to get ready for the next day, but the next day it wouldn't start at all . I am a retired HVAC / Boiler technician so I am very familiar with how to follow instructions and work on various types of equipment especially fuel related. I tried calling Husqvarna but they have no one who you can speak to , no supported technical service dept. I had to chat and then they referred to call their support company in my area, ( NOT HUSQVANA) my first phone call was ok sir you can bring it in , I said you are 25 miles away and I would like to speak to someone who may offer a solution . a young man came to the phone and said he was sales and they had no tech's on site and referred me to some other place. So at this point I felt it necessary to call Amazon and get the 30 day return that is offered. NOTE ...be Leary of company's who only offer chat and you can't speak to a live person. I was Pleased that I could speak to a live person at amazon to to resolve this issue ... show more

I had purchased the Husqvarna handheld leaf blower4 years ago. It worked handily as it was intended. But the size of my property, DEMANDED a bigger, better version of leaf blower. I found it: this backpack blower is FANTASTIC!! Powerful, lightweight and my arms are not Jello afterwards anymore. This blows the leaves further, wet or not, and I can maneuver freely around the yard more strategic and thoroughly. It is not heavy on my back: quite frankly, it's fun to use.     • Powerful, comfortable and meets expectations
I had a Husqvarna handheld blower and have been happy with it for years but I needed something bigger. I did a LOT of researching and product comparisons and landed on this 150BT model. I've only had it for a week now but I must say, I am quite impressed! It's really powerful and moves loads of leaves, even wet ones, easily. And for its power, it's not crazy noisy. Ear protection is still needed of course however it's less loud than some others I have experienced. The shoulder pads and back pad are comfortable. I also like the waist-level belt you can use to better support and center the unit on your body while you are using it. The throttle is ergonomic and easy to use/hold. The assembly instructions leave something to be desired, however. Mostly it's just the set of tubes you have to attach out of the box, but the paper instructions are not really clear so after a wee bit of trial and error, I figured out how the all go together. The rest of the Quick Start instructions for how to fire it up are fine though. It does require a gas-oil mixture so you need to find a way to mix those, or just use some premixed 50:1 stuff in the can. Love the power it produces!! I’ve had a smaller and less powerful blower for about ten years. It was time to move up. Bordered by dense trees on two sides of my property, clearing my yard of leaves is time consuming and something that has to be repeated three or four times. This product makes the job easier and more efficient. Initially it was problematic to start, but no more. Noise level is less than I anticipated, although I purchased ear protection. ... show more
