On either side of the fireplace insert are three shelves, 2 glass, that hold your entertainment components like gaming systems, a DVD player, remotes and more. Both of the side shelves are illuminated with LED lights with 7 different color settings to coordinate with the glowing fireplace. This Fireplace TV Stand has a mix of light walnut woodgrain laminated particleboard, MDF and hollow core construction with metal feet and tempered glass shelving. Combined together this stand makes for a very sturdy addition to your room. The top can hold up to a 70" flat paneled TV with a maximum weight of 120 lbs. I love this thing so much!! The heater works really well and lets you pick the heat anywhere from 64-82 (maybe 84?) degrees Fahrenheit. There's also a setting where you can turn off the heat and just have the fire on. It took about 3-4 hours for my husband and I to assemble and we definitely needed to buy more wood glue. I found this unit under a different brand / name on Wayfair back in November. The finish I wanted, Light Walnut, was out of stock. It was estimated to be in during December - then January, then February, now March. On to Plan-B. After a lot of internet searching for something suitable, I found the exact same unit I was looking for on Amazon. It had a different Brand name which is the reason I couldn't find it in the first place. Just like mattresses; why do companies like Wayfair do this? To make it impossible to comparison shop, that's why. I ordered it, opted for assembly, and it arrived 3 days later. My scheduled assembly appointment, also 5 stars, came off without a hitch the following day. The TV stand is beautiful. It has a very clean style and the light walnut finish (which is grey) was worth waiting for. The legs are very sturdy and it supports my 65 inch TV perfectly. The fireplace insert is phenomenal and throws off pretty good heat. The ambient lights are nice also. My only wish is that is was 3" to 4" higher. I won't repeat all the features which are listed in the description. I'll just say that I couldn't be more satisfied and highly recommend the TV stand with assembly. I paid $499, have seen it for less, but didn't want to take a chance of it selling out. ... show more

It looks nice when done. Some parts were mislabeled, extremely heavy, easily scratched when screwing in parts plus some already knicks before I started, screwing in the top took some effort, the crystals should have been labeled to put inside the heater before it was screwed in *I had to take the unit out and then rescrew it back in*, for some reason I thought the flames were going to be blue but they weren’t, and definitely not enough glue included. It’s sturdy and will do the job. I didn’t really test the heat part because it was mainly bought for ambiance. For the price it’s good. ... show more

Everything about this order was perfect. It arrived within days, I paid the extra $20 to have the delivery guys carry the box in the house for me which was worth every penny. The way the fireplace was packaged in the box was impressive and professionally done, Everything was wrapped and protected perfectly. I assembled it by myself and it took half the day but I was able to do it alone even being a female and it came out perfect. I shopped this fireplace for a while and found it the cheapest on Amazon plus they are the best about returns and it was free if I needed to return it. This is hands down the best item I've ever purchased on Amazon. Love my fireplace and the color is gorgeous in person. *Edit all of a sudden the fireplace insert stopped working on the coldest night so far. It gave an error code E3 which the manual says the heater vents are prob clogged w dust but it's barely a month old. I did what the manual said but nothing worked. Called cust svc and they were so helpful and easy to deal with. I had to email a few pics to them and they are sending me a new insert free of charge. It hasn't shipped yet but once I rcv it I'll update with the final results. ... show more

I waited literally 10 months with this on my droplist waiting for the price to come down. My TV quit and I had to purchase a new one and I thought, this would be a good time to get a new TV stand as well.... Lo and behold the price dropped and "only 2 in stock" of the Light Walnut I had sought after for so long. This was the perfect colour and matched everything right to my ceiling fan. I love these digital fireplaces. I loved the fact that you could program and change the colours. Since it's not been very cold, I have not used this as a fireplace much. I have only used it as a "lightshow". However, one very cold evening 2 weeks ago, after only having this put together for 2-3 weeks, we started smelling something burning and couldn't figure out where it was but we were running around frantically looking when it became painfully obvious as my wall suddenly turned black from the floor to the ceiling where the fireplace was plugged in. There was nothing else in this outlet except my speakers. The TV was on another outlet as this was towards the corner in my living room and I don't plug all heavy appliances into one outlet and I use brand name surge protectors. But this thing was no match for my surge protectors, to which have protected me when lightning struck - but not this beast! I quickly flipped the breaker obviously and we had to strip the outlet, electrical and wall. When we examined it the next morning, the plug was melted at the back of the unit where it connects to the fireplace all the way to the socket. In literally a matter of 2 hours max. Did anyone pay for this damage? NOPE. Do not be fooled by the warranty, all they did was refund me and nothing more. I am so disappointed and heartbroken, and apparently stupid because I almost bought another one...But I just couldn't bring myself to pay double what I did in the first place just because it was so beautiful.
