  • It is easy to assemble and very powerful
Pattern Name: Leaf Blower
I am very happy with the performance and power of this blower. It was easy to assemble, notwithstanding the worthless small instruction paper. I used online videos. While it appeared, on the website, to have a waist belt, it doesn’t. What it has is unpadded shoulder straps apparently designed by a sadist. They are too short, and the cinching straps are cumbersome and cheap. I made a sternum strap out of an old web belt, and padded the shoulder straps with shop towels. I feel the website is intentionally misleading. Getting past what really irritated me (a polite way of saying it), the machine is fantastic. I used ear plugs rated at 32 db, and was surprised how ‘quiet’ it was. The controls are intuitive, and work well. It cleared clippings and leaves with ease, and dislodged two fresh wasp nests. Despite the lack of a decent harness, the performance makes me give it 5 stars. BUT, for an extra couple of bucks to give this blower a decent harness, the company could make this machine a 6 star product. ... show more

  • Wow this is powerful
Pattern Name: Leaf Blower
I have had a few back pack blowers in my life. The others are toys compared to this one. The force from the blower can knock you over if you aren’t prepared for the jet stream this produces. I did my first leaf blowing in half the time. It is truly remarkable. It’s also easy to start and control. The on,y downside is that it may be too powerful. It blows the mulch and pine straw along with the leaves. But it took me an hour to do a two hour job. A bit pricey but worth it. It is a bit heavier but not too heavy ... show more

  • This thing totally blows!
Pattern Name: Leaf Blower
It did the job nicely and ran for about an hour and a half on a tank full of gas (about 3 hours on a gallon of gas). I had a ton (many tons actually) of pine needles and leaves, and once the piles got pretty huge, it was a bit more of a pain to move them, but next year I'll blow them twice and it should be way easier. That would be better anyway since the pine needles and the leaves fall at different times. It was fairly comfortable, even though I was a bit sore after having it on for three hours. Very low vibrations, which was good, and lots of power. One thing that confused me was the quick start thing said to squeeze the bulb until you saw gas, but I couldn't find any bulb. It took about 4 or 5 pulls to start it the first time but it wasn't a problem. ... show more

  • Bringing the heat to New England!!
Pattern Name: Leaf Blower
First off, I live in New England surrounded by woods on a corner lot. I get everybody’s leaves on top of the that due to my prevailing wind. I struggle with leaf removal and utilize a lawn sweeper for my garden tractor. Not anymore! This blower is a monster! Ergonomics are great, makes leaf removal enjoyable. Imagine doing leaf removal for a solid month, that’s the situation and the Husqvarna solution is working out awesome! It’ll burn through fuel quick, so just expect that. ... show more

  • Fire it up and rock n roll
Pattern Name: Leaf Blower
This thing really blows. In a good way. I’m no pro landscaper but I’m getting results like I am. There are guys out there paying over $150 per month to have someone blow out and cut their grass so the cost of this is nothing compared to savings. You will need a shed to put it in. I use the pre mixed gas since I’m only taking care of two small properties with this. This things moves big piles of leaves like nothing. When I crank this up it feels like I have a Harley Davidson on my back with the deep growl of the engine. Love the sound of this beast. I also have a small battery powered Makita blower and the Husqvarna does the work about three to four times quicker. The leaves haven’t really started to come down although I did use this in each of the last four or five times I cut the lawns. I usually edge up lawn with weed wacker, then blow out with the Husqvarna, then cut the grass so my stripes stay fresh. The gas tank on this is very decent size this is a nice benefit and I appreciate it since the tank on my weed wacker is very small. You could probably do five properties or more on a tank. At the very least you will not need to gas up on one or two properties in the middle of the job. When I use blower I usually focus right in front of me not too far out so I could do a better clearing. With this baby you have to take it gently on the throttle or you could blow the turf away if you are not careful. Buy this you will enjoy. I guess the only reason to really step up to the more pricey model is if you are really in hurry and blowing out properties professionally. If I was on the clock so to speak I would spring for the top end model but for me this is perfect. I realize now stepping up from the small Makita that the bigger back pack blowers do save a huge amount of time. ... show more
