I got tired of replacing my tiny factory battery and opted to upgrade it I order to accommodate my new audio system. It was a pain to find terminals that would fit but anfter many trips to anuto stores I eventually managed to get it to work. It ran like a dream for 4 years. Purchased 5/2020 and it died 6/2024. The only problem is the delivery time needed when the battery dies. You’ll either be left without a car for a week or have to buy another type of battery from the local store. Fortunately for me, I have a battery tender/charger and it manages to pump just enough charge for me to get a single startup. Tedious but worth the wait. ... show more

Using a smart bass 3 and two AB xfl 12s. I read so much about how anything over 2k needed alternator upgrade, etc. But I gotta tell you.. I turn the volume up to clip, which on these subs is dang loud. And my voltage stays at 14.7. I thought my volt meter was broken. Then finally it began to dip super hard. To 14.4 lol. So I'm like wow, I think I can run all 4k of my power on stock electrical with just this one battery. Maybe if you run your system nonstop while driving, you will eventually run out of juice. But for me, I only play the music loud maybe a half hour at a time and the rest is probably pulling maybe 500w tops. Just at everyday listening volume. So for me, it's been awesome. It gives me the power when i feel the need for it, voltage stays strong and no dimming unless I really go crazy and even then it is only the trunk lights and dome lights, the headlights aren't really noticeable. This is on stock electrical so I'm even surprised that it does this well. Before this battery, no chance I was doing more. I was on 1200w and it was dimming like crazy. So not only am I on triple that power now, but the dimming is barely there. And the voltage appears to be extremely strong. This battery is really powerful. To hear the power from this setup and know most of it is coming directly from this battery is extremely impressive. ... show more

Top quality design, and #1 battery! Night and day difference! My Taramp 5k smart amp wasn’t getting the power with those auto parts store AGM’s, so after reading all the positive reviews I went ahead and bought this battery. Let me tell you, I notice the difference immediately more powerful sound and more volume without the amp going into protective mode. Sub was hitting the lows 28hz and bass meter reading 2,[email protected] 13.7v 141db. Volume couldn’t go pass 22 without clipping, now it goes 28 and with more fine tuning it will be a beast. Oh, sub is wired to 0.8ohms and running only on a 150a alternator. ... show more

Second XS D3400 in four years. Vehicle has HO alt and overly built electrical, with multiple runs of 1/0. Only supporting one RF T1500 and one RF T600. Every winter the battery struggles, even with an AGM trickle charger connected. Both batteries stopped holding charge and stopped cranking on startup. Very weak compared to other brands. There is only a 3yr warranty and XS only will cover it, if you purchase from an authorized dealer (Amazon is not one). The line for customer service is always busy and they never call you back if you leave a message. I won't be purchasing any future products from XS Power. ... show more

XS POWER D3400!!! Holy Moly power batman! This battery is awesome. If you’re in the market to buy a battery, wether its for upgrading your sound system or to simply replace your old battery, then this is it. Is it pricey, is it going to last 10+ years, is it a direct fit, or is it durable, HELL YEAH!! Since 2003, I had an Optima yellow top in my IS300 and had to replace it once with another Optima yellow top and I’ve had enough. Replacing a yellow top every 6 years at $200+ a pop… it’s not worth it anymore. I’ve read somewhere that these things will last 10 years no problem, well I’ll see about that. Still skeptical. This bad boy is hefty! It bolts right on like a champ. It comes with the M6 terminal bolt and you can bolt things right up. It does NOT come with battery posts, but can be purchased separately. Some may think this is a bad thing, but it really isn’t since your old battery terminal has a top mounted bolt, simply remove your cables from that bolt and mount it directly to the battery. Since you’re battery is coming out anyways, I’d recommend running a parasitic battery draw test with a meter. Google “parasitic battery draw”. This thing fires up real quick! I think it comes close to doubling up on the CC amps on my IS300. So my car starts right up. Heavy duty for sure, I’ve ran my radio with my car off with an eD nine-4 with DLS Nordica 6.5s and a Audioque d1200 with an Acoustic Elegance ib15, and this thing rocks and after an hour my car started right up. ... show more
