These reviews highlight the capacity of a portable power source to provide reliable power in remote areas or during power outages, proving particularly useful for running power tools. The unit appears to function optimally with 12.0AH batteries, achieving extensive usage time. However, some users mentioned receiving a damaged or malfunctioned item and found the unit heavy, even without batteries.

Pros

  • 🔧 Effective for running power tools
  • 🔐 Useful during power outages

Cons

  • ⚠️ Reports of receiving broken units
  • ⚖️ Considered heavy even without batteries

Should I Buy It?

If you frequently find yourself needing power in remote locations or during power outages, and utilize power tools, then this product seems to be quite reliable and efficient. However, note that some find the unit bulky and consider the possibility of receiving a malfunctioned unit. Every effort should be made to confirm the condition of the unit upon delivery.

  • Every household should have one…
Based on my assessment this piece of equipment should be on hand and available for whenever there is a power outage and so forth. Highly sought after item that may be needed for times when the grid is down due to post disaster. Battery powered, light weight and portable! Milwaukee and Ryobi battery powered equipment is interchangeable (adapter needed) however it’s been a great backup for us in the country whenever there’s a power outage. ... show more

  • Works great with most tools
It works great for many tools and charge batteries extremely fast (even if it is not its main purpose). However, some items like heat gun drown the battery faster than others. For example, I can't use the heat gun more than 30 minutes with 4x M18 12.0 batteries.

  • Good for spot needs, but not for a 5000 BTU window unit past 1/2 hour on 12 AH batteries
I expected a couple hours on the four M18-12AH batteries. Will it run a fridge, and a fan for overnight, maybe. But not an air conditioner. If you have spot stuff to run like a table saw, or a drill press, that’s what this tool is made for. Not for a power outage. Milwaulkee needs to make a 20-30 amp hour battery to make this tool more useful ... show more

  • Don’t bother with this one
The media could not be loaded. Tried testing it on a couple electronics that don’t have any excessive watt draw and the tool went into over heat protection every time. Can’t even plug an extension cord in without it going into overheat protection.

  • Great For Remote 120v Power
I use this for when I am out away from any 120v power. I run 12.0AH batteries with the unit and get great like out of them running power tools.

  • I think this was a return
It came in a Home Depot box(?). It did not have the Manual. It did not have the carry on strap. It looks like it was packaged by someone at home. It was wrapped over and over with small bubble bubble wrap. However, it work, so I will keep it. I wish I could get the strap and the Manual (I downloaded one). This is my third power supply. I returned the other two (Generic and Ecoflow) because the could not handle the surge on my Mitre saw or small table saw. This was probably my last chance so I'll keep it. I really want to give it 2 stars because of the other problems, but it does work. ... show more
