I live on 80 acres. About 1 mile on the property is gravel driveway that previously had not been getting blown. Debris had broken down into dirt over the gravel. The unit is light and easy to put on. Blowing power is good enough that I can push the turbo and blast leaves that are semi-caked in mud out-of the road. After a handful of dry days I can even blow dirt right off of the gravel. The 2.5AH battery doesn't last as long as I need. That said I didn't expect it to. The charger gets me back out there blowing in about 30ish minutes (I haven't timed it but it's not long anyway) which gets me about 15 minutes of blowing (roughly). The release button is quite stiff when removing the battery. That said it's a solid little unit. I keep chipping away at my property. I previously had an EGO hand held blower and loved it but it was stolen and I didn't want to pay $800 for the backpack upgrade. I didn't want to carry gas... the battery life is pretty decent. The noise level is higher than a mower but not like a gas blower might be. It works well and cleaning power is nice. There is a function for a boost of power/ extr speed, but this decreases the battery like. I think it is a great value for your money. We have so many trees on our lot that shed leaves this helps get it out of bushes, grass and around objects. I'd say it is true to the advertised battery life. It charges in 45 mins so really you can depleted do something else and come back pretty quick. Highly recommend ... show more

I have used the blower now on 4 occasions in the past week. The machine is well built and comfortable to wear. Assembly was very straight forward with no issues. It has plenty of blowing power, but what I was surprised to find is that I could do a lot more than I thought using the "trigger lock" switch to select and hold operation at a lower speed. At about 2/3 of the trigger lock switch, I had more than enough to do most of what I wanted, particularly with the ability to post the "turbo" button for those times when you need a little more blowing force. THE BIG DRAWBACK is the battery life. Running mostly at max blowing speed I would struggle to get 18 minutes of run time. This was really disappointing, but I knew that going in and so I also purchased the larger 4.0aH battery. I thought between the two of them, I would be able to do my long driveway which takes about 45 minutes. The 4.0aH battery only has about 3-4 more minutes of run time vs. the 2.5aH battery, and that was REALLY DISAPPOINTING. ... show more

Ok,I have 1 star,not because of operation though,but batteries!Not sure if they actually believe themselves or flat out lying?Here's why..Bought in July,so haven't used the leaf blower til yesterday.Live in Michigan &waiting til most leaves come down.I have 2 80 volt(1 Pro)batteries and time is based on using both of those batteries and clock starting in the kitchen,before getting blower from garage,carrying to pic nic table,inserting battery and then putting the backpack on to use.Ok then,going to ship the actual time and literally show you the test I had.At start in kitchen,put several butterscotch hard candies in pocket and 1 in mouth,then proceeded with the blower.I then used battery Pro til it went dead and then battery # 2 until it died.So 2 80 volt batteries,1 which was a Pro version,and that 1st butterscotch hard candy outlasted both of those batteries and the entire span of taking the bower+setup to use and still had that same candy after I put everything away!This was just average use,not full time power button pushing.I dont know about you,at this rate I will still be blowing leaves at the start of next year with a start day of November 15th.I could be wrong but believe a battery should last a bit longer,with 2 batteries one which being sold as even better,maby last longer than a piece of candy?Not to even mention that,as of my writing this using a Xbox series X controller,that Pro battery is still in charge mode which also makes you wonder if it is a quick-charge charger?All in all,blower works as advertised but if you need longer time than a piece of candy to do anything,you might need to line up 4 or more charges unless you're just blowing dust from the driveway! ... show more

Lighter than my more powerful Echo backpack blower but not as powerful and the battery does not last for more that a standard size driveway and sidewalk. However, there is no gas to buy, plugs to change or issues with a mechanical engine running or exhaust fumes. It is also much quieter than my Echo gas back pack blower. For bigger jobs, you really need 2 batteries. If I was doing more than a standard size home or needing it for all day commercial usage, I would stick with the gas blower. Although the Greenworks does not blow quite as strong as the Echo, I prefer it for my personal home usage. ... show more

This is every bit as powerful as a gas/diesel fueled blower. However, the battery lasts about 20 minutes. I bought a (VERY expensive) 2nd battery, and I can barely finish blowing off my roof (1700 ft²) before both are dead. Not a very good value for the money in my experience.
