I didn't want to carry gas... the battery life is pretty decent. The noise level is higher than a mower but not like a gas blower might be. It works well and cleaning power is nice. There is a function for a boost of power/ extr speed, but this decreases the battery like. I think it is a great value for your money. We have so many trees on our lot that shed leaves this helps get it out of bushes, grass and around objects. I'd say it is true to the advertised battery life. I live on 80 acres. About 1 mile on the property is gravel driveway that previously had not been getting blown. Debris had broken down into dirt over the gravel. The unit is light and easy to put on. Blowing power is good enough that I can push the turbo and blast leaves that are semi-caked in mud out-of the road. After a handful of dry days I can even blow dirt right off of the gravel. The 2.5AH battery doesn't last as long as I need. That said I didn't expect it to. The charger gets me back out there blowing in about 30ish minutes (I haven't timed it but it's not long anyway) which gets me about 15 minutes of blowing (roughly). The release button is quite stiff when removing the battery. That said it's a solid little unit. I keep chipping away at my property. I previously had an EGO hand held blower and loved it but it was stolen and I didn't want to pay $800 for the backpack upgrade. I use this product for blowing leaves away from my house and barn and out of the yard I am very happy with how it is very powerful and it does make it easier to have on your back besides holding it in one hand which throws you off balance and will make your back hurt if you have back problem but with this it helps me with my back problems by having it on my back as well as very nice to have the control to move the nozzle and trigger right there and it it's a very nice electric leaf blower the only downside is it does not last 25 30 minutes as it said but it also says if you hit the turbo which I had to hit a few times you know I think I made it to about in between 15 to 20 min. on how much time that it was able to run for on the One battery now drying power I was able to blow wet saturated leaves that were in a pile that I was not able to shovel away but this blue that away so far as drying power that is a 5 out of five; light weight it's okay because it's on your back but you know putting it on it's not as easy; no maneuverability is a little bit difficult because it is on your back which I had to learn to turn my body with the blower because I was trying to use it like a handheld one I guess what you cannot do but as far as maneuverability is okay as far as maneuverability probably would be even better if I wasn't really short and the things are attachments are on there pretty long even on the shortest you know link set that you can put it on I still about 3 in maybe five too long we're if it was just a little bit shorter for me personally it would be a lot more maneuverable but like I said I'm still getting used to it and maybe I just need to hold the end up a little higher I don't know I've never owned a leaf blower or had to blow me so I'm all new on how the right way to blow leaves and even how to use a leaf blower but this is my thoughts on this product which overall I am very happy with my purchase and the product thank you ... show more

It only weighs 22 lbs with battery but has enough power to operate like a heavier and louder gas powered blower. 8Ah battery has enough runtime to get abut a 20'x20' tarp completely filled to 2 ft deep with damp leaves 2-3 times on a single charge and enough power to lift even heavy wet leaves. At full throttle you get about 30-40 minutes. Clearing a 2 acre lot of mature hardwoods takes about 5 charges of the 8Ah battery but that's a LOT of leaves and a lot of pushing them across the ground. You will be grateful for the breaks. Charges reasonably fast for the capacity as well but expect 45 minutes of you want to top it off. Would recommend for those with bigger jobs but might be overkill for a small subdivision with no trees. ... show more
