EDIT: ZMISHIBO's customer service reached out after I wrote this review, and was amazingly helpful! They offered me a partial refund after learning of the issues I had with the product, and their customer service was extremely polite, helpful, and communicative. I've revised the score from 3/5 to 5/5 to represent this experience. The fan was extremely easy to assemble. It took about an hour with the included tools, and was easily doable with only one person. The packaging included a few spares for each type of fastener, so you have replacements if you lose one or two. One minor issue I had with the attachment of the cover plates to the blades was that the holes were slightly misaligned, so that it was slightly difficult to thread the screws into the blades through the cover plates. It didn't affect the attachment, but added a bit of irritation into the assembly process. The hardware, like most cheaper household furniture items, is not very high quality, and if you're not careful, the screw heads will strip quite easily. Installation was very simple. The included wireless fan controller and wiring harnesses mean that you simply have to attach the ceiling mount to a joist, lift the fan into position, and then attach the ground, neutral, and hot wires. The fan functions well, with one issue: it's extremely difficult to balance the blades, because there are eight of them. It's very rare that a fan doesn't wobble a bit, but that problem is usually pretty easy to solve by checking which blade(s) is out of alignment with the others. However, with there being eight different blades, good luck figuring out which blade(s) is the one causing the problem! There are simply too many variables to get it adjusted correctly. ... show more

Lights have 3 different settings but no dimming feature from what I can tell, but I don't really care. The media could not be loaded. I love this 72 inch fan, the size is perfect for our space! We chose to use the black blades, but you can also use the wood look on the other side if you’d rather. It comes with a remote control that you can change the lighting and fan speed settings from. There are three different lighting options and 6 different fan speeds. I love that the lighting temperature is warm and natural or you can use the LED setting that makes it bright white. Overall, the fan was easy to install and it’s sturdy and there is no shaking. The performance is amazing and it has already cut back on our electricity bill because we don’t have to run the AC as low. ... show more

Bought this fan believing that it would do what one would normally expect from a fan. Well, this one did not perform as expected. It looked beautiful and it was quiet, the lights provided everything it promised. As for providing air movement, it lacked at every setting, and we tried the forward and reverse settings, and we felt no difference in air movement no matter where in the room we stood. After learning about CFM, which tells you how much air can be moved per minute, this fan doesn’t have a rating. Yikes! Long story short, we returned it and got our money refunded. Thank you, Amazon! Wish I knew about CFM ratings before I ordered this and paid to have it installed. Huge learning lesson! ... show more

My husband and I converted our garage into a bedroom after having our third child. We went to Lowes and Home Depot and didn't find anything we loved and also, we were trying to save some money too because converting a garage into a room isn't cheap. We both get hot when we sleep so we knew we wanted a large fan to really get the air moving. I was dead set on a fan that was black because I think it looks very clean and will always stay in style. We agreed upon this fan as it had the key elements we were looking for in a fan with an added bonus! This comes with a remote that has 6 different fan speeds (you can really tell a difference in all of them) and 3 different light settings. Some people have different light preferences, so I think that's a cool addition. I'm not sure how difficult it will be when the light eventually needs changed but we will cross that bridge when the time comes. If you're looking to get the most bang out of your buck and are looking for the things we were looking for.. This is the fan for you. Please like! ... show more
