The media could not be loaded. It was delivered in 2 boxes, it was a timely delivery and package really tight to prevent damage. I had no damaged part and all the pieces were there. There’s a lot of pieces ! The directions were fantastic thank goodness. They are numbered and I separated them by 10, 20’s and 30’s and I’m glad I did, because it was easy to find the number I needed. The only tool you need is a screw driver and possibly a rubber hammer. Thank goodness I had a battery operated screw driver because there’s a lot of screws. It looked intimidating but the directions were so good it went smoothly. It’s an inexpensive fireplace so it looks like wood but obviously it’s a compressed wood product. I knew this would be the case when I bought it so I was pleased with what I got. It is pretty. The flames colors are not as natural as some fake fireplaces but I’m ok with it, it does make a low murmur sound but it’s not loud in anyway. Just letting you know there is a sound. I would say for the money this was a very good buy. It looks exactly like the picture they advertised with and it’s high quality in its price range. Like I said it’s a lower end price for a fireplace but much nicer than I expected. I forgot to mention the heater I tried it for a brief moment and it worked, it’s still hot here so I did not run it long. I’m pleased with my purchase. ... show more

Solid Product! Heater goes up to 82 degrees and is efficient to heat a small space. You can adjust the small shelves on three different levels, each about an inch or so apart. This piece of furniture upscaled my plain living room and is worth the investment. A drill and screwdriver are definitely needed to build this set and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for book storage if you have an excess amount of books like I do. Nonetheless, it fits a good amount of books on its lil shelves and looks great. Shipping had me worried but the pieces arrived in fairly great condition ... show more

I’m a 70 year old great grandmother and I had it put together in about three hours. Instructions were easy to follow and the pictures of each finished step helped a lot. I recommend this fireplace. The insert logs could be more realistic!

Wooden mantle and shelving beautiful. Heater works great. Very disappointed with the flaming and wood feature. Flame colors are horrible. If I didn’t put it all together first I would have returned it.

I really wanted to get an electric fireplace to heat the living room so I wouldn’t have to turn on the (central) heat in my home. The heat works really well but there is a fan noise when turned on. The noise doesn’t bother us especially when the TV is turned on because you can barely hear it. The flames/logs do look a bit artificial (I mean it’s not real anyway!) when you look at it for too long. But overall it’s a great cozy addition to the living room. It comes in 2 packages (1 for the heater/fireplace; 1 for the mantel and side shelves). The box for the heater/fireplace wasn’t heavy at all - a person alone can carry it. The 2nd box for the surrounding unit is heavy AF. If you live in a community like me where the package room is in another building, you will need a dolly (or 2 really strong people). Putting it together wasn’t the worst. There are a lot of parts. It really helps to keep everything organized. All the parts are numbered and the screws are labeled by letters. The instructions are straightforward (IKEA-level instructions). All I used was a screwdriver. I would also recommend wearing grip gloves and a quality screwdriver with a fatter handle so your wrists don’t hurt because there is a lot to screw in. Otherwise, you can use a drill. Overall it’s a really great piece of furniture for an affordable price. For reference I got the 70” unit with a 75” tv. The only con I would say is how the backboard of the shelves do not come with hole to run wires through. But I guess that’s OK because the shelves are customizable so random holes in the back board with limit you. ... show more

So first of all, I enlisted help from my Dad and I am glad I did. It took us almost 5 and a half hours to put together. I put football on and we went in. After I laid out every piece, we went to the directions that are just pictures...smh. still continued the journey that was challenging but after hour 4 we were on a mission to complete our task. Alot of the pre drilled holes were not so that is why I only gave 3 stars. As you will see in my second picture we had to make holes and accidentally drilled through. Most people wouldn't care BUT now everytime I look at the piece, I go right to the hole. Next we were not given enough of pieces. You will also see in the first picture the shelves are not completed since I need to run to Home Depot and get more. Very frustrating so make sure you count each piece prior. We did use both an electric drill, but to make sure the piece wasn't scratched we hand screwed, as well. Overall I wouldn't do it again. For $100 more (as my husband kept letting me know) you can go to a furniture store and have one delivered. It's cute for a first apartment, but not the highest quality for a living room. I have seen mixed reviews on the quality of this item. However, I think you get what you pay for. I absolutely love this it! The price, The quality is better than I could have imagined.
