Be very careful when pushing in dowels! While pushing one in the board, it cracked. While screwing one of the screws in, this boar cracked, also. No extra pressure was placed n the dowel or screw, just flimsy . . We glued it and hope it holds. Can’t complain, for as they say”you get what you pay for”. I just wanted something to set tv on! I do love the look of the fireplace. It is a lovely piece and easily assembled. Probably wouldn’t by this again, though Would, definitely, get a better quality piece! ... show more

This fireplace is beautiful and I'm so happy I got it! Extra hardware left over. My son in law put it together in 2 hrs by himself!! This will be nice in our ND winters just to relax and warm up!

Opening the package I found a chipped corner and a cracked top (number 1) piece. I’ve sent an email to the seller and waiting a response. Overall, the process of putting the unit together was very easy and it looks pretty good. I’ll get back to you if and hopefully when I hear back from the seller.
