While the product does everything it claims to, the resulting flame is more relative to a Bic lighter than to a torch. I have difficulty applying high heat to anything further away than 1/4" to 1/2".

The gas leaks out, you can see it sputtering out. It's cold. Didn't even get to use it, unsafe. Liquid butane can burn your skin and it's a fire hazard. Have these been recalled? They need to be. Only 1 had butane left in it after 10 minutes.

    • Day one nice little torches all function properly.

5 pack for $14 nice little plastic small-flame torches with piezo, flame lock and adjustment that so far actually does adjust the flame size from small to significantly smaller. For me the problem is usually that the flame is bigger than I would like and if you the adjustment slide had any function at all it would be completely useless within a few uses. This one may very well fail sometime soon but with the already very small flame I'll be happy enough if it keeps working for a couple months or so. For now at least they're excellent. They come with a little silicon base for stability which is pretty cool also. So far it's a great deal. Avoid if you need a bigger hotter flame. Definitely not for brazing or for charring food but great for soldiering. ... show more

It's worth the asking price . Their not the big bulkey ones too big for a pocket , well made , they dont have the the rotating head but they sure look pretty sweet. Always light in the wind they don't hold a ton of field but it's pocket worthy and at least the first one I used has issues going out afterwards I kind of wants to spray fuel for a little while longer here's the reason I only gets four stars.
